Right Side News publishes reporting and opinion from independent writers. If you have a story, an analysis or an argument our readers should see, pitch it to us.
What we look for
- Courts, government accountability, immigration, national security and threats to Western civilization.
- Pieces built on documents and primary sources, with links so readers can check them.
- Original work or first-run pieces are preferred. Reposts of your own work are considered with credit to where it first ran, if you hold the rights.
How to pitch
Email editor@rightsidenews.com with “Pitch” in the subject line. Include:
- Your name or pen name.
- Your idea in a few sentences, or the finished piece.
- Links to two or three samples of your writing.
What happens next
- The editors reply if it’s a fit. We can’t respond to every pitch.
- Regular contributors get a contributor account to submit drafts, which the editors review before publication.
Terms
- Contributions are unpaid.
- You keep the copyright and grant Right Side News a non-exclusive licence to publish and keep the piece online.
- Pen names are welcome, but the editors need to know who you are.
- The editors may edit for length, clarity and accuracy, and decide what runs.
