Reacting to the Republican cave in on the shutdown and the defunding of Obamacare, Rush Limbaugh, in a nine minute diatribe on his radio show which was republished by World Net Daily, complained bitterly that Republicans had been “hoodwinked” by various political tricks played by Democrats and by the media.

Hoodwinked?

Really?

Seriously…, Rush? Do you think the Republicans were “hoodwinked” into abandoning their ostensible purpose of defunding Obamacare?

And do you think they were “hoodwinked” into voting to increase the already staggering debt limit so that both parties can continue their immoral, unconstitutional destruction of American government, the American economy and the American culture?

Do you really believe, Rush, that the Republican leadership was “fooled” somehow? Do you really think that they somehow misread the Constitution; somehow seeing a phantom sentence or phantom clause in Article One, Section Eight that authorized them to legislate regarding health care?

Is it really likely that this is all some mistake and given a chance to do it all over, the Republican party would vote and act differently?

We don’t think so, Rush.

Isn’t it more likely that those who have been “hoodwinked” are those that put their trust in the Republican party and the Godless, conservative movement?

Isn’t it beyond time to return to the true American View of law and government, acknowledging the Creator God as the Supreme Judge of the Universe and the written Constitution as the Supreme law of the Land?
