Let me define what I mean by a cult. Some identify a cult as some kind of commune that uses brainwashing techniques, cutting off its members from their families, and so forth. Although these may be classified as cults, this is not what I am talking about. I am talking about the doctrines of cults. A Christian cult is a group that falls under the general name of Christian, but which has deviated from the historic doctrines of Christianity. Groups like the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons would fall into this category. In both of these groups that main thing that makes them cults is their distortion of the doctrines of Jesus Christ. Within Islam there are also cult groups who fall under the general classification of Islam, but which have departed from historic Islamic doctrine. Many of them are called cults because they have prophets who are claiming to receive new revelations from Allah. Under the Islam of Muhammad and the Qur’an this would be a big problem because Muhammad is the final prophet. Any prophet who comes after Muhammad would be considered a false prophet. We are going to look at four groups. We will cover a group coming out of Turkey called the Gulen Movement. We will expose the charter schools they are starting here in America and the funding they are getting from the federal government. We will also cover the Nation of Islam and Louis Farrakhan its present leader. We will look at Jamaat ul-Fuqra, a Pakistani militant group that has militant Islamic training centers around the country. They are in New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and other states. We will also look at a pacifist group called the Ahmadyya Movement. They believe that the Islamic Mahdi, the Islamic messiah, actually came in the 18th century and hold to the doctrines of the early Islam of Mecca. They claim the abrogation taught in Islam never happened. This group makes up about 1% of the Muslim population. One thing we need to understand about Islam is that Islam means submission. It is the goal of Islam to bring the whole world under submission to Allah. Muslims don’t have choices or freedoms. They don’t have the freedom to speak, to chose who governs them, freedom to worship whom and how they want. We have these things, and place great value upon them, here in America. We have them because of our Christian heritage. God is the ultimate judge, but He doesn’t force Himself on us by the sword. The freedom to believe or not to believe is ours here in our country. If we choose not to believe in the God of the Bible, or in His Son, Jesus Christ, we have the freedom not to believe. No man has the right to try to force anyone to become a Christian. However, those who reject the God of the Bible will someday stand before Him in judgment. Christians are to proclaim the truth in an effort to persuade others, but not to force them. Hopefully others will see the truth and accept it, but they have the freedom to choose. God has given mankind a free will, and the freedom to choose, but we are not free from the consequences of our choices. We cherish freedom because of our Christian heritage, but Islam doesn’t have this heritage, and doesn’t cherish freedom the way we do. If Islam is going to control the world, it has to do away with freedom. This means that it must do away with America because America is the guardian of freedom.
The Gulen Movement
This movement is starting charter schools throughout America. You will be surprised to see how much government money is being used to fund these schools. The last figure we have is well over $40,000,000, but there are some that say it is far more than that. There are more than 140 of these taxpayer funded charter schools. Since Texas has the largest Muslim population in America, it should come as no surprise that Texas has the largest number of Gulen charter schools. This movement was started by a man named Muhammad Gulen. He is an Islamist from Turkey. After the fall of the Ottoman Empire Turkey became mostly secular. Over the last generation or so it has been moving more toward an Islamic state. Gulen has had much influence over the leaders of Turkey today. The current President of Turkey, Abdulah Gol, and the current Prime Minister are disciples of Gulen. Many of the police and the lawmakers in Turkey his disciples also. A little over 2 years ago, Gulen was living in a compound in Pennsylvania. Turkey wanted him extradited back to Turkey because they felt like he was trying to run a parallel government from the US. I find this strange because the current leadership in Turkey is pretty Islamic. Gulen is building the largest Islamic complex in America near Washington, DC. It is a 100 million dollar project. It will have mosques, training centers, etc. It is only 39 miles from the White House. It is about a half a mile outside the beltway around Washington. Most of it is already built. It dwarfs the mosque in Dearborn, MI, which used to be the largest in America. It is reported that President Obama will be present at the opening of this complex. Gulen’s influence is behind the open door policy in Turkey. We know from Bible prophecy that Turkey is going to play a vital role in end-time prophecy. It should not be a surprise that Turkey is rising up in the Islamic world. The headquarters of the OIC, the largest voting block in the UN, is in Turkey. There have been more than 200 secret trips by government officials to Turkey. This includes members of Congress, state legislators, and mayors. In addition to government money, globalists are funding these schools. Bill Gates has put more than 10 million dollars into the Gulen Movement through the Cosmos Foundation. You might expect these schools to have Islamic names, but here are some of the names given them:- Horizon Science Academies

Isn’t it interesting that the majority of these schools are in the Bible Belt? Do you think there might be a reason for targeting those areas of the country where there are higher concentrations of Christians? We also see a high concentration of these schools around the Washington DC area. The reason for our concern is that there are many reports of the school’s after hours activities being used to indoctrinate students.
Why is there one cent of government money going to schools that are tied to an Islamist and to Turkey, a foreign government? I have no problem with a charter school privately funding itself. Why are we seeing tax dollars go to schools started by an Islamist movement? Turkey is now ties with Iran, Russia, Hesbolah, etc. so why are we supporting it? There are up to 1,000 of these schools across the world. It is a 40 billion dollar industry.
This group not only builds schools, it builds cultural centers. These cultural centers promote an interfaith dialog. They are “tri-faith centers” where they try to combine the faiths of the Jews, Christians, and Muslims together. The reality is that this group is an Islamic supremest group. Their goal is to see Islam rise and Sharia to be implemented.
This is such a stealth movement that it almost passed below our radar here at Fortress of Faith. Now that Shahram has brought this to our attention we want to bring it to your attention because it is not a small movement.
I mentioned the trips by our political leaders to Turkey earlier. These trips are funded by this movement. The IRS reports that over $800,000 has been paid to these politicians to take these trips. The purpose of the trips is to convince these leaders how great this education movement is.
When these politicians are taken on this trip they are presented a story of a peaceful Islam. They are shown how progressive Turkey is and told that this is the new face of Islam. These lawmakers come back with a distorted view of Islam. As we stated earlier, Turkey is becoming more and more Islamist in nature.
Shahram was supposed to meet with a mayor in Idaho. A week before the meeting, the pastor who had set up the meeting was called by the mayor saying she was canceling it. She had gone to Shahram’s website and saw what he stands for. She had recently been taken on one of these trips and had a distorted view of Islam. She was convinced that what Shahram has to say about Islam cannot be true. She said that if she met with him it would negatively affect the influence she had with the Muslim community. She said this even though the Muslim population in her community is at best 1%.
Shahram then talked with some legislators in Idaho who said there were several state legislators who were also taken on these trips. There needs to be an investigation on this because it is illegal for elected officials to be taken on this kind of trip by foreign entities who wish to influence American policy.
Elected officials are to report anything they get that is free. Have you ever heard of bribery? These are all expense paid bribery trips designed to influence them and give them a distorted view of Islam. These same legislators are going to be voting on budgets that will give money to these schools.

Jamaat ul-Fuqra
The Jamaat ul-Fuqra group is out of Pakistan. It has enclaves here in the US in places like Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina. These enclaves are military training camps and we know that the FBI has been keeping an eye on them. We haven’t heard much about them because they have been exposed and the local communities and sheriff departments have been taking a stand. Because of this, although the ownership of the properties has not changed, there is very little activity at these sites. One thing we need to know about this group is that the attack in San Bernardino had ties to this group. We also need to know that CAIR came to the defense of this group saying we are making something out of nothing. This groups buys these properties and then names them. The most famous is in upstate New York, where they have named the property “Islamaburg.” We have learned from undercover videos that it is much like an army basic training center. It is estimated that there are more than 3,000 members of this group in the US. Because we live in a free society, law enforcement can’t do anything until they act. They are operating under the protection of the Bill of Rights, especially the Second Amendment. It is really a tough situation for our law enforcement people. Some day we have to answer this question; If there is a religion that demands that anyone who does not follow their religion and the the adherents of the religion are commanded to kill those who don’t follow it, should we make laws against it? If there is such a religion, what is it? The answer to the first question is that there is such a religion, and the answer to the second is that it is Islam. There are already laws on the books, passed in the 1950’s to combat Communism, that say if there is an ideology that not only calls for violence, but also calls for the overthrow of the American government, the ideology would be seditious and can be criminally charged and/or kicked out of the country. Any group has the right to form a militia if it is a constitutional militia. A constitutional militia is a militia formed to protect our country from inside or outside forces that wish to overthrow our government. These are not constitutional because their purpose is the overthrow of our government. Islam teaches that it is superior to all other system and the other systems must be overthrown. We must do something about these camps rather than waiting for them to attack and kill us before we can do anything.Be informed. The movements we have looked at so far are militant groups. The Ahmadyya Movement is on the other side of the spectrum. This is a peaceful Islamic cult. This group believes that Ahmadyya was the actual promised messiah, the Mahdi. Sunni and Shi’ite Muslims believe that the Mahdi is coming back, but this group believes that he has already come. This is one of the reason this group is considered a cult of Islam. This group is one of those leading the Muslims For Peace dialog and the interfaith movement. They are way outside the norm of Islam. They they don’t believe the later passages abrogate or overrule the earlier passages when the contradict one another. They believe that the later passages are not accurate when they call for violence against unbelievers. They don’t believe there is any commandment to kill apostates, they don’t believe that women are to be treated as less than men, they don’t believe in slander and hate speech laws. They don’t believe in much of the orthodoxy of Islam. This group makes up no more than 1% of Islam. They are the force behind the Reformed movement in Islam. Islam cannot be reformed without getting rid of the Qur’an and Muhammad. The US spokesperson of this group is based out of Oregon. His name is Harris Zafar and we often see him on TV when Islamic issues are being discussed. I cover him with the reformers in my book Refuting Islam. Like all of the reformers, this group tries to rewrite Islam, but it is not the Islam of Muhammad. Those who follow Muhammad’s Islam will be militant. Muhammad is the originator of Islam, and his Islam is the real Islam. You won’t find this cult active in Muslim countries because they would be considered apostates, and they would be killed. You will find them in Europe, America, and Canada, where they are protected by our laws.The Nation Of Islam
Most Americans have heard of the Nation of Islam. This Islamic cult was started by a man named Wallace Fard Muhammad. In 1930 he began to develop a racist movement where blacks were against the evils of the white man. Black Liberation Theology was spawned from the early teachings of Wallace Fard. This movement became the Nation of Islam under Elijah Muhammad, who was a disciple of Wallace Fard. The main reason for the existence of this group is the black man fighting against the evils of the white man. In the beginning it was a racist organization, and it has not changed. During the 1960’s Elijah Muhammad claimed to be a prophet of Allah. According to Islam, anyone who claims to be a prophet after Muhammad is automatically a false prophet because Muhammad was the last prophet. Also, during the 1960’s, there was the evangelical part of the civil rights movement with the Baptist preacher Martin Luther King. The more militant group took on the face of Islam in the Nation of Islam. It is important to know that Muhammad was antagonistic toward the black man out of Africa. He called them raisin heads and the black man was considered a picture of evil. The white man was considered a holy man. It is interesting that some of the black culture has adopted Islam when the founder of Islam was very racist against the black man. Another quirk is that no one has been more involved in slavery than Islam. Those who claim to be fighting slavery and the injustice toward the black man have chosen to line up with the greatest oppressor of black slaves. It was wrong for the Europeans and Americans to have slaves, but to you know who captured these slaves and sold them to us? It was the Arab Muslims that captured them and made them slaves in the interior parts of Africa and then brought them to the coast to sell to the white man. The current leader is Louis Farrakhan and it is centered in Chicago. Most of the black Muslims in America are part of this group. Louis Farrakhan is becoming more and more direct in his rhetoric telling his followers to take up arms and to kill the white man. He recently called for an army of 10,000 of his faithful to take up arms and begin to kill the white man here in America. We hear that many blacks are being converted to Islam in our prisons. Most of them are joining the Nation of Islam. It is basically a gang mentality. It has a skin of religion pasted over it, but in reality it is a racist hate movement which is doing what it does in the name of a god, Allah. Most of the Muslims in the world are working with the Nation of Islam because they have the same common enemy, America. Once they have gained the upper hand in America they will start fighting each other. Today we see the Muslim Brotherhood joining forces with the Black Lives Matter group. Black Lives Matter is calling for violence and revolution. Black Lives Matter has ties to the Nation of Islam and the Black Panthers. The Muslims will work with them and use them to accomplish their goal of overthrowing America. Islam, in the house of war, will work with whomever they can to accomplish their goal of world domination. Once they go to the house of Islam, they will turn on those who are not true Muslims and destroy them. Let me give a warning to the liberals in America and Europe who have been holding hands with these groups. You may align yourselves with the Muslims because you feel they have been oppressed, and you want to use them to overthrow the structure of Western culture, but when they get the upper hand, you will be some of the first to be eliminated. Islam will use you to destroy the Christian values that made America great, and as soon as this is done, it will turn on you. You only have to look at Europe to see this happening. Those who have supported the Islamic refugee program are now seeing their women raped by the very Muslims they fought to bring into their countries. When I lived in Europe, the Muslims told me that Sharia was coming and I did not believe them. I said it never could happen. Well, I was wrong, it did happen and it happened right in the town where I was ministering.
