Border Patrol agents seized over 15,571 pounds of marijuana, 462.7 pounds of cocaine, and 1.4 pounds of methamphetamine. Agents arrested 11 criminal aliens and 10 gang members. There were eight rocking incidents.

El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Calexico, California. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history, including a prior felony conviction for lewd or lascivious acts w/child under 14. The subject previously had been removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Venezuela near Las Cruces, New Mexico. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for misuse of a Social Security account/fraud and previously had been removed from the United States.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,315 pounds of marijuana, a tractor-trailer, and arrested a United States Citizen (USC) at the traffic checkpoint near Falfurrias, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the trailer. A subsequent search by agents uncovered the marijuana.

Swanton Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Chad near Burke, New York. Records checks revealed the subject had an active warrant of arrest for attempted homicide issued in the country of Canada. 

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,416 pounds of marijuana and recovered a stolen Ford truck near Douglas, Arizona. Agents were assaulted by unidentified subjects throwing rocks during the seizure, and deployed less lethal munitions to stop the attack. The truck had been reported stolen in the state of Arizona. 

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Sasabe, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for rape in the state of Washington and previously had been removed from the United States.

El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 455.5 pounds of cocaine, a tractor-trailer, and arrested a national of Mexico at the traffic checkpoint near Niland, California. The subject presented himself for inspection and an agent noticed bundles of suspected narcotics concealed in the vehicle. A Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle and a subsequent search by agents uncovered the cocaine. 

El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Albuquerque, New Mexico. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Two Six street gang in Chicago, Illinois. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history and previously had been removed from the United States. 

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,500 pounds of marijuana and a Chevrolet truck near Salineno, Texas. Agents observed several subjects loading suspected contraband into the truck and approached the area. Upon seeing the agents, the suspects absconded into Mexico. The marijuana was found in the truck. 

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,660 pounds of marijuana and a Ford truck near Why, Arizona. The vehicle containing the marijuana was found abandoned after it attempted to circumvent a Border Patrol checkpoint by traveling off-road through the desert.

New Orleans Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Lake Charles, Louisiana. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior felony conviction for indecent liberties with a child in the state of North Carolina. The subject previously had been removed from the United States. 

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,205 pounds of marijuana, a Chevrolet truck, and arrested a USC near Garciasville, Texas. 

San Diego Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested a national of the Philippines near San Diego, California. The subject admitted to being a member of the True Pinoy Boys street gang and records checks revealed he had a prior conviction for a controlled substance offense in the state of California. 

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near North Komelik, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history, including a prior conviction for manslaughter. The subject previously had been removed from the United States.

Del Rio Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Eagle Pass, Texas. Records checks revealed the subject was a convicted and registered sex offender in the state of Minnesota. The subject previously had been removed from the United States. 

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,271 pounds of marijuana and a Chevrolet truck near Escobares, Texas. Agents responded to a report of suspicious activity and discovered the abandoned truck containing the marijuana. 

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 97 pounds of marijuana and arrested two illegal aliens from Mexico near Naco, Arizona. Both subjects became combative and resisted arrest. Agents deployed less lethal devices to subdue the subjects and took them into custody without further incident.

El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico in El Paso, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Paisa gang. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history and previously had been removed from the United States. 

Laredo Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Honduras near Cotulla, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS-13) gang. Records checks revealed the subject previously had been removed from the United States. 

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Honduras near Havana, Texas. During processing, the subject was identified as a member of the MS-13 gang. Records checks revealed the subject previously had been removed from the United States. 

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,117 pounds of marijuana near Lukeville, Arizona. The marijuana was found abandoned in the desert.

 Blaine Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 7.2 pounds of cocaine, 1.4 pounds of methamphetamine, a Chevrolet truck, and arrested an illegal alien from Canada near Lynden, Washington. A Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle and a subsequent search by agents uncovered the narcotics. 

Del Rio Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Eagle Pass, Texas. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history, including prior convictions for murder and alien smuggling. The subject previously had been removed from the United States.

Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for shooting at inhabited dwelling/vehicle/etc. and previously had been removed from the United States. 

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador near Hidalgo, Texas. During processing, the subject was identified as a member of the MS-13 gang. Records checks revealed the subject previously had been removed from the United States. 

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,729 pounds of marijuana and an abandoned Chevrolet Suburban near GuVo, Arizona.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 3,713 pounds of marijuana, a tractor-trailer, and arrested a national of Mexico at the traffic checkpoint near Falfurrias, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle. A scan using non-intrusive inspection technology revealed anomalies within the trailer and a subsequent search by agents uncovered the marijuana. 

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Why, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for lewd and lascivious act with a child in the state of California and previously had been removed from the United States.
