Mansfield, OH – The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has tracked down wanted murder suspect Adrian Horn on this evening in Georgia. Horn was wanted by the Mansfield Division of Police for the murder of Kevin Moses on July 7, 2009. The Mansfield Police Department and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force have been working on the case since the date of the alleged murder. The case immediately became one of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force’s Most Wanted. Members of the Task Force worked closely with members of the U.S. Marshals South East Regional Fugitive Task Force to obtain leads and information that led investigators to the Atlanta, Georgia area.

The U.S. Marshals South East Regional Fugitive Task Force followed numerous leads and interviewed dozens of Horn’s family members and friends that lived in the area.

All leads seemed to be running cold when alert Task Force Officers began to develop information that Horn had friends in the Decatur, Georgia area. Officers patiently set up surveillance on numerous locations for several weeks. U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said, “All of the Task Force’s hard work and patience paid off. These officers worked every angle for the past few months and refused to stop until they arrested this violent offender.”

Members of the South East Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Horn at the Alven Ridge Apartments in Decatur, Georgia without incident. Horn did not deny his identity and he was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriffs Office where he will be held until he is extradited back to Mansfield.

Lt. Allen Vandayburg of the Mansfield Police stated, “Mansfield Homicide Detectives and Task Force Officers gave this case everything they had. Kevin’s family can now begin to have some closure now that we have Horn in custody.”
