This past Sunday on a popular Sunday News program Jack Markell (D), Governor of Delaware and Head of the National Governor’s Association, was Stop the Bull CrapStop the Bull Crap Mr President, Americans are Getting Really FED Up!discussing the looming sequester. He first solemnly stated that if the Sequester went through it could push his state and other states back into recession. He then proclaimed “states are only vehicles for service” to its citizens. To anyone paying attention, Governor Markell unknowingly professed to what the liberals of today think all government should be: One huge teat.

This high-stakes ponzi game being played by both the Federal and State Obama followers relies on the fact that the majority of Americans now think their government is the supplier of everything, I mean EVERYTHING! It is no longer the responsibility of individuals to take care of themselves, it is up to the local, state and federal government; and woe unto someone who stands in the way of anyone trying to get to the Government Udder.

To make his point about the horrors of the looming sequester, take a look at the steaming pile of Fauquier barn droppings that Obama is spreading around:

“Border Patrol agents will see their hours reduced.”

“FBI agents will be furloughed.”

“Federal prosecutors will have to close cases and let criminals go.”

“Air traffic controllers and airport security will see cutbacks, which means more delays at airports across the country.

Thousands of teachers and educators will be laid off. “

“Tens of thousands of parents will have to scramble to find childcare for their kids.”

Hundreds of thousands of Americans will lose access to primary care and preventive care like flu vaccinations and cancer screenings.”

REALLY Mr. President?

This is just pure, unpasteurized, low-down, barnyard demagoguery.

Let’s examine the actual facts; something this administration will not be revealing because it does not fit the narrative they are using to blame the Republicans for this fabricated HORROR.

The entire sequestration cut of $85 billion is just over 2% of our budget this year.

This reduction in spending is equal to 4 weeks of interest on the debt we have accumulated.

This money that will not have to be borrowed is to be taken from a Federal budget that is roughly double what it was just 11 years ago.

And what you will never hear from Obama?…..The $85 billion won’t all go into effect this year.

The cuts would be spread over two years, so we are discussing around $44 billion Yes, this is the total amount of money that will NOT be spent that was scheduled to be spent this year. Even with this cut we will still be spending more this year than last year, we’re just not going to spend as much as projected. Now are you feeling insulted?

And just as insulting is Obama’s feeble attempt to create a false or misleading impression  about whose idea the sequester was in the first place, and who promoted it from the beginning, and who lied about it in the campaign against Romney. Then, when he was called on his prevarication by none other than Bob Woodward of Watergate fame, Obama and his team are questioning Woodward’s veracity. That sure did not work out well for Nixon.

So our President has stooped to a new low in an attempt to prey on the base fears of large sections of our citizenry and he has resorted to nothing less than terrorist tactics to hold citizens hostage to their fears. Why? Not to protect America’s citizens from real harm but to attempt to win a political battle with the Republicans.

It has brought me to a place I have never been before. To best describe the feelings of many like myself, I will simply defer to the words of Rush Limbaugh:

“Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time in my life, I am ashamed of my country. To be watching all of this, to be treated like this, to have my intelligence — all of us — to have our common sense and intelligence insulted the way it’s being, is — it just makes me ashamed.”
