Where does President Obama stand and what is his Doctrine on Israel

In his speech, President Obama called for a ‘new beginning between the United States and Muslims’, declaring that ‘this cycle of suspicion and discord must end’.Today we want to look at how President Obama sees Israel. We are going to look into some things he has said and done so we can understand his mindset concerning Israel. We will look at his Cairo speech and some other things that reveal his doctrine on the subject of Israel.

First let’s talk about what is going on in Israel right now. The conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza is heating up. I want to remind you that Hamas, which is a jihadi organization, is the governing body of the Palestinian Authority. In other words Hamas is running the show for the Palestinians. This past week Egypt had tried to broker a cease fire between Israel and Hamas. Israel accepted the cease fire but Hamas immediately rejected it and it was not worth the ink with which it was written. This gives us a clear picture of what happens over and over again. Israel gets attacked by thousands of rocket being fired into its population areas and when Israel responds to defend herself as we would if our home was being attacked repeatedly; she gets lambasted by the media and by the world’s governments, including ours. Yet again, Israel wants to accept a cease fire and Hamas won’t.

This is not surprising when we understand the stated goal of Hamas. Hezbollah, another jihadi organization based in Lebanon and funded by Iran, has the same goal has Hamas. Both have stated that they will not stop fighting until Israel is totally destroyed. These groups and others, including nations like Iran, talk a good talk about a two state solution when talking to the West, but when we listen to what they say among themselves and read their charters and other written statements we clearly see their goal of the obliteration of Israel.

Our question today is where does President Obama stand and what is his doctrine on Israel. Why does it appear that, more than any president in our history, he is abandoning Israel as fast as he can. The only thing that is holding him back is public pressure.

I don’t know who it was that first said this, but it tells the story of the situation faced by Israel very clearly:

If tomorrow Israel were to lay down its weapons and refuse to fight any more the result would be that there would be no more Israel.

Peace Happens When Palestinians Stop Attacking

If tomorrow the Palestinians would lay down their weapons and refuse to fight any more the result would finally be peace in the Middle East.

If Israel stopped fighting the Muslims would destroy her and she would cease to exist. Israel only wants to live in peace so if the Muslims would stop fighting the hostilities would end and we would have peace.

Here is a question that will also help clarify this. If you want to live in peace with your neighbor and your neighbor stated that they were not going to rest until I wipe you out of this neighborhood, now can you negotiate with that?

President Obama tells Israel that, not only must they negotiate with a neighbor when it is dedicated to their destruction, they must negotiate back to the 1967 borders. That tells you a lot about the Obama doctrine concerning Israel.

The only thing that can protect Israel is force. This is the only language of negotiation the Muslims understand. The following cartoon says it all.

 Let’s start looking at Obama’s doctrine and we where he is coming from. Something slipped out at the 2011 G20 meeting in Caen, France. The microphones were left on and we heard a conversation between Sarkozy, who was then the president of France, and Obama. They are talking about the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamen Netanyahu. Here is what Sarkozy said about him:

I can’t stand him. He is a lair.

The Obama said:

You’re fed up with him, but I have to deal with him everyday,

This gives us insight into what Obama thinks about Netanyahu who is our only ally in the Middle East. The treatment that Netanyahu is getting from this present administration is appalling to say the least.

I think the Obama doctrine concerning Israel can be best seen in the first speech he made when he went overseas. He went to Cairo, Egypt and it helps us understand where he is coming from.

Click on Image to Order Before we look at Obama’s Cairo speech I want to look at what Secretary of State, John Kerry, had to say at the Trilateral Commission. He was caught saying that Israel has become an apartheid state. Some lawmakers criticized him for this and he started backing off this statement. Here is what he said:

A two state solution is will be clearly underscored as the only real alternative because a unitary state winds up either being an apartheid with second class citizens or ends up being a state that destroys the capacity of Israel to be a Jewish state.

When he is talking about the apartheid state with second class citizens he is talking about Israel. This tells us a lot about the mindset and thinking of this administration. In our newsletter of June 7, 2014 we cover how Israel has been told by this administration that if they don’t bow to Obama’s wishes they will work to incite intifada against them.

We know how well giving up land for peace has worked in the past.

Did you hear the end of what he said? He said that Israel must have the right to defend itself by itself. He is saying that Israel can no longer depend on America in its battle for existence. It is already shocking enough that Obama expects Israel to go back to the 1967 borders, but to state that it must do it by itself is even more shocking.

Netanyahu responded like a statesman. In a grand way he told Obama to go jump in the lake.

The 1967 borders would make Israel only nine miles wide and put the Arabs is strategic locations making Israel vulnerable.

Giving land for peace in the past has not worked, what makes anyone thing it will work if they do it again? In spite of this, Israel is constantly pressured by the Obama administration to do it again.

Let’s look at what this administration did with the nuclear negotiations this past November. We gave everything to Iran and the Iranians said they had won in the negotiations. The current negotiations with Iran are going no better than the last ones. The administration has extended the deadline that was to be tomorrow, July 20th, until next November. It seems that each time America is involved in negotiation on Islamic issues; America comes down on the side of the Islamists. This is seen especially if Israel and its security are involved. According to Politico John Kerry told Israel to butt out if the negotiations and save his critic until after the deal has been inked.

This is especially serious when we remember that Iran wants to destroy Israel. Iran getting nuclear weapons is of the utmost interest to Israel; their very existence may depend upon it.

Let’s get back to the Cairo speech. In 2009 he went the most well respected Islamic university in the world which is in Egypt. This is the Harvard of the Islamic world. On the same trip he shared something with the Egyptian Foreign Minister in confidence that the Foreign Minister shared on Egyptian TV.

The American President told me he is a Muslim. He asked the Muslim world to show patience. He promised that once he overcame some domestic problems that he would show the Muslim world what he would do with Israel.

This bit of information has been lost to the memories of Americans. It explains his attitude toward Israel.

Obama claims to be a Christian, But…

As we look at this speech we need to remember that Obama claims to be a Christian. Next week we will be looking at the proof that he is still a Muslim, but for now let’s remember that he claims to be a Christian. With this in mind it is interesting to note that in the speech us used the term “the holy Qur’an” numerous times as he quotes from it. He only quotes from the Bible one time at the end of the speech.

Here is one of his quotes from the Qur’an, it comes from Sura 5:32:

The Holy Koran teaches that whoever kills an innocent is as — it is as if he has killed all mankind. And the Holy Koran also says whoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind.

We have a problem with this quote because we know that there is something in the next verse that he did not quote. To begin with he started the quote half way through the verse, as do all Muslim apologists. The verse starts by saying “we ordained for the children of Israel” so you can see that this verse is not talking about Muslim, but Israel.

We must also understand that when Muslims talk about killing the innocent they don’t mean the same thing we do. The way the Qur’an describes an innocent it is talking about Muslims who are innocent in the eyes of Allah. The non-Muslim is not innocent in the eyes of Allah. This verse is not talking about the same thing we mean when we say the innocent.

What this verse really says is that if a Jew kills an innocent Muslim he is guilty of killing all mankind. The next verse says:

The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;

This is clearly talking about non-Muslims. Notice the punishment that is due non-Muslims.

Let’s look at the verse Obama quoted from in context. It says to the Jews that if they kill an innocent Muslim it is as if they had killed the whole world and if you save a Muslim it is like you have saved all of mankind. But if you wage war against Allah (all non-Muslims are in the house of war) the punishment is “execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land.”

In context, does this sound like a peaceful verse? Yet this verse that Obama quoted to say that Muslims are peaceful. How deceptive can it get?

Here is a quote from the speech that we need to look at closely:

I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story. The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco. In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President, John Adams, wrote, “The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims.”

This incident with Morocco is about the Barbary Pirates. This pirates were attacking American ships and the US thought that if they signed a treaty, the Treaty of Tripoli, that they would have peace. The Muslims continued to violate the treaty. This has been the practice of Islam from the beginning. Muhammad signed the a treaty with Mecca and broke the treaty within two years. What President Adams said was that the US has no enmity against what Islam does in their one countries, not that Islam was peaceful.

Here is another quote:

And when the first Muslim American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Koran that one of our Founding Fathers — Thomas Jefferson — kept in his personal library.

He is implying that Jefferson thought the Qur’an was equal to the Bible. Why did Jefferson have a Qur’an? He had it because he was following one of the basic doctrines of war, know your enemy. We didn’t actually end the problems with the Muslim Barbary Pirates until we went on the offensive and destroyed them.

The president took this completely out of context in trying to say that Islam has always been a part of the American story. He is not completely wrong because Islam was our enemy back then, and Islam is our enemy today. Morocco was not the first country to recognize our country, it was the first to attack us. When we tried to make peace through a treaty, they did non honor it. Peace only came when we defeated them militarily.

In 1786 the Algerian Ambassador explained why they were attacking us.

Islam was established on the laws of their Prophet Muhammad that it was written in their Qur’an that all nations that would not acknowledge their authority were sinners, infidels, and that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found.

He was saying that the reason we are attacking your vessels and holding your crews for ransom is not personal it is just that you are non-Muslims and Islam has declared war on non-Muslims. It is just our duty to do that.

Obama Will Turn on Israel

The most troubling part of this speech is where he says he will turn on Israel because Israel is the enemy of Islam. Let’s look at what he said. He starts out by saying he wants a new start with the Islamic world and he hides some things in his speech that we are trying to reveal.

I don’t think anything is hidden in this next quote, but it didn’t grab the American news headlines.

…I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.

If I read the Constitution correctly, I thought the responsibility of the President of the United States was to protect the United States from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. It is not his responsibility as President to go on a world tour fighting negative stereotypes against Islam.

Why do you suppose this was not covered by the News Media? Could it be that the media does not want to show Obama’s propensity toward Islam? Could it be that they don’t want his Islamic background scrutinized too closely?

This propensity toward Islam explains why all of the manuals used for training law enforcement have been purged of anything that mentions that Islam is involved in terrorism. There can be no mention of jihad or any other negative Islamic terms. The Fort Hood massacrer cannot be looked at as Islamic terrorism.

Here is another statement that Obama made in this speech:

In Ankara, I made clear that America is not — and never will be — at war with Islam.

First of all this shows that he is uneducated because we just showed you that our first war was against Islam and the Barbary Pirates. We are not at war with Muslims, but we are at war with the ideology of Islam. President Obama made it clear that he is not going to allow America to go to war with Islam.

At Fortress of Faith we have often said that there is a difference between the Muslim and Islam. We do not attack Muslims, we see the people differently than the ideology. There are moderate Muslims who want a peaceful Islam, but that is not Islam.

While there are moderate Muslims, there is no such thing as moderate Islam. Islam is a militant and dominating ideology. The very meaning of the word means submission. It must dominate any other ideology, nation, or religion. If it is outside of Islam in is in the house of war. Until we admit that we are at war with Islam we will always be a victim of Islam.

Jihad is Islam and Islam is Jihad. We must recognize this if we are going to maintain our way of life.

Some may say that this is old news but the actions of this administration have proven that Obama’s doctrine is pro-Islam and anti-Israel. Remember that the Obama administration was supportive of the overthrow of Mubarak, the leader in Egypt, who had honored the peace treaty with Israel for 30 years. When the Muslim Brotherhood took over in Egypt in 2011, they said they would tear up the peace treaty. They allowed Iranian war ships to come through the Suez Canal and threaten Israel.

I think that the overthrow of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt by the military was only by the grace of God.

America helped destabilize Libya and Syria. We know that the Arab Spring was an Islamic revolution. The doctrine Obama laid out in Cairo has been their doctrine ever since.

Why don’t we listen to what Obama says? It will give us his plan and the doctrine that he is following.
