White lives don’t matter when Soros-funded race riots are underway.

White people don’t enjoy full protection from the police in riot-torn Charlotte, North Carolina because the authorities there are intimidated by the violent racist Black Lives Matter movement that dominates so many cities.

This toxic mix of racism and left-wing radicalism is everywhere it seems and this kind of rioting has become commonplace under President Obama who views it as essential to drive the fundamental transformation of America.

The rioting blacks leverage white guilt and the outrageous yet powerfully resilient lie that police and the entire American system of governance are irredeemably racist, biased against them because their ancestors came from Africa. Reasoning with these people and their supporters, pointing out that America is the least racist nation on earth and that the president of the United States is African-American, as are leaders and innovators in more or less every field of human endeavor, is pointless.

Obama is a master of rhetorical duplicitousness. He typically tries to have it both ways by denouncing the violence in front of television news cameras and then encouraging it by saying the rioters’ cause is just. After a Black Lives Matter-sympathizing sniper killed five cops in Dallas this summer during an anti-police protest, cold-as-ice Obama even had the audacity to attend their memorial service and lecture the dead men’s widows about police brutality.

Black Lives Matter, which is underwritten by hedge fund manager George Soros, is not merely a political movement: it’s a Marxist, anti-American, revolutionary cult whose members aim to unleash a reign of terror on our society. As James Simpson writes, Black Lives Matter has deep roots on the radical, revolutionary Left.

They celebrate when police officers are killed in the line of duty. They don’t want equality; they demand that black Americans receive special, preferential treatment. Disagree and they’ll howl you’re a racist, boycott your business, or try to get you investigated for hate crimes.

President Obama refuses to denounce Black Lives Matter no matter how much violence and mayhem its supporters generate. When they murder cops, Obama is silent. Apart from some perfunctory, generalized denunciations of violence in general, Obama doesn’t reach out to the public to ask for calm or to deplore the killings. He routinely invites Black Lives Matter leaders to the White House and lavishes praise on them. Black Lives Matter also has the support of the Democratic National Committee which has officially endorsed it.

Obama is the ayatollah of the Black Lives Matter cult, which is animated not only by anti-white racism but by a hatred of normal American values. Its members idolize convicted, unrepentant black militants and cop-killers Assata Shakur and Mumia Abu Jamal, and have declared “war” on law enforcement. Its members openly call for police officers to be assassinated.

Predictably, President Obama brushed off the rioting and looting in recent days in Charlotte as insignificant.

“The overwhelming majority of people who have been concerned about police-community relations [are] doing it the right way,” he said. “Every once in a while you see folks doing it the wrong way. Looting, breaking glass, those things are not going to advance the cause.”

The rioters in Charlotte have their hearts in the right place, Obama said. “I think it’s important to separate out the pervasive sense of frustration among a lot of African Americans about shootings of people and the sense that justice is not always color blind.”

The unrest followed the police-involved shooting last Tuesday of Keith Lamont Scott, 43, a black man with a long criminal record and a history of violence against police officers. Scott was fatally shot in Charlotte by officer Brentley Vinson, 26, a former high school football star who also happens to be black, after he disobeyed repeated commands from police to drop his gun.

Reasonable people can argue over whether Scott should have been shot but the claim that he was a victim of systemic racism is utterly absurd. Scott was shot by a black cop who reports to a black police chief in a largely black city.

Scott’s criminal behavior goes back more than 20 years.

In April 2015, he was convicted of driving while intoxicated. In 2005 he was sentenced to 15 months in a Texas jail for evading arrest. In that incident it appears he fired a handgun at San Antonio police when they tried to detain him. The same year he received a seven-year prison sentence for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was set free in 2011.

In 2004 he was convicted of misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon. In 1992 he was convicted of concealed weapon (not a gun), simple assault, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was charged with aggravated assault in 1992 and assault with intent to kill three years later. The charges were reduced but their disposition is unknown.

Meanwhile, evidence is mounting that the police in Charlotte have failed in many cases to protect white people caught up in the unrest. It may not be the fault of the police officers, so many of whom across the country are limited in what they can do. They are under orders from left-wing police commissioners, oversight boards, and police chiefs with heads full of New Age mush, who refuse to allow police to use adequate force to disperse rioters. When they do, they fail in their most basic duty as law enforcement officers, which is the protection of life and property.

Disturbing video footage has emerged from Charlotte showing black rioters assaulting whites with impunity. One video on social media seems to depict rioters beating and stripping a white man in a parking garage while he begs for mercy. Other videos online show whites being attacked for no apparent reason. Rioters attempted to throw a journalist on a raging fire. He was rescued by police and civilians.

Many — if not most — of the rioters are from out of state and are associated with groups funded by George Soros. Local police say 70 percent of those arrested have out-of-state identification. The same thing happened in Ferguson, Missouri, after young thug Mike Brown was shot as he tried to kill a white police officer. Radicals streamed into the community from centers of leftist activism like Chicago and burnt large parts of the city down.

And apparently no one in Charlotte is enforcing a federal law that forbids crossing state lines to engage in rioting and destruction of property.

As Colin Flaherty has demonstrated exhaustively, black mob attacks on whites are very common in the U.S. There is a silent ongoing conspiracy among the media not to report the race of black attackers so much of the nation’s non-black population has no idea it is happening. The “knockout game,” which involves young blacks attacking unsuspecting white victims by delivering blows to the head, is so common much of the media no longer reports incidents involving it.

Black attackers, typically young men, are so brazen and confident they’ll never be held to account that they take video footage of attacks and circulate them afterward.

The unrest in North Carolina brought out the fascistic tendencies of Twitter which suspended the account of law professor Glenn Reynolds for daring to urge riot victims on the highway to protect themselves. As angry rioters were surrounding and threatening passersby in their cars, Reynolds, who blogs under the name Instapundit, gave the commonsense advice that those endangered in their cars should use their cars as weapons. They should “run them down,” he tweeted.

At the same time Twitter routinely takes no action against militant blacks urging violence against white people.

The continued unrest comes as President Obama officially opened the new National Museum of African American History and Culture on the National Mall, a couple of blocks from the White House and a few hundred feet from the Washington Monument.

The museum documents the ill treatment of blacks that took place a long time ago, along with blacks’ many lasting contributions to American society and culture. Naturally, with the assistance of honored guests Stevie Wonder and Oprah Winfrey, Obama used the opportunity to trash America, as he has done almost daily since becoming president.

“A clear-eyed view of history can make us uncomfortable,” he said. “It is precisely of that discomfort that we learn and grow and harness our collective power to make this nation more perfect. That’s the American story that this museum tells.”

Ignoring his own role in ratcheting up racial tensions and foisting unwanted, unneeded, un-American change on the nation, Obama continued to whine about how rotten this country is.

The museum is proof “that this country born of change, this country born of revolution, this country of we the people, this country can get better.”

Indeed the country can get better. The recovery may begin this January 20 at 12 Noon.
