During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Pacoima Pacas street gang. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history and had been previously removed from the United States.
New Orleans Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Colombia near Lake Charles, Louisiana. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history, including a conviction for possession of cocaine and an active warrant of arrest for robbery issued in the state of New York.

Laredo Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Honduras near Hebbronville, Texas. During processing, the subject was identified as a member of the Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS-13) gang. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history and had been previously removed from the United States.
San Diego Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Chula Vista, California. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the MS-13 gang. Records checks revealed the subject had been previously removed from the United States.

Buffalo Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Egypt near Oswego, New York. Records checks revealed the subject had a criminal history, including a prior felony conviction for receiving stolen property. The subject had also been previously removed from the United States.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for statutory rape in the state of Tennessee and had been previously removed from the United States.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 3,012 pounds of marijuana near Garciasville, Texas. Agents responded to a report of suspected narcotics smuggling and followed vehicle and foot sign to an abandoned hunting cabin. Agents observed bundles of suspected narcotics stored in plain view at the cabin, and upon further investigation the bundles were found to contain marijuana.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Venezuela near Douglas, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for possession with intent to distribute marijuana and had been previously removed from the United States.

El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Calexico, California. Records checks revealed the subject was a convicted sex offender in the state of Nevada and had been previously removed from the United States.
San Diego Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested a United States Citizen (USC) near Boulevard, California. Records checks revealed he was the subject of an arrest warrant for murder issued in the state of California.
Tucson Sector – A Border Patrol agent was assaulted near Douglas, Arizona. While attempting to arrest an illegal alien from Mexico, the subject resisted arrest and bit the agent on the hand. The agent subdued the subject and took him into custody without further incident.Reported on January 5, 2011
El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Calexico, California. Records checks revealed the subject had prior convictions for child molestation and assault in the state of Washington. He had also been previously removed from the United States.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 2,254 pounds of marijuana and a Ford Explorer, and recovered two stolen Dodge Durango’s near Penitas, Texas. When approached by agents, the drivers abandoned the vehicles and absconded. Agents discovered marijuana in all three vehicles.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,975 pounds of marijuana and a Ford pickup truck near Alamo, Texas. Agents observed individuals loading suspected narcotics into the truck near the Rio Grande River. When agents approached, the driver and passenger abandoned the vehicle and absconded into Mexico.
