El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Calexico, California. During processing, the subject was identified as a member of the Colmar Vagos Trece gang. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history and had been previously removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Ecuador near Alamogordo, New Mexico. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for criminal sexual contact and had been previously removed from the United States.

Laredo Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador near Gardendale, Texas. During processing, the subject was identified as a member of the Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS-13) gang. Records checks revealed the subject had been previously removed from the United States.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,199 pounds of marijuana and a Ford truck near Alamo, Texas. Agents observed a vehicle traveling north with its headlights off and attempted to make contact with the driver. Upon seeing the agents, the driver turned south, drove through a closed gate and absconded into the brush. Agents discovered the marijuana in the abandoned vehicle.

Laredo Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 741 pounds of marijuana and three vehicles near Randado, Texas. Agents observed unidentified subjects loading suspected contraband into the vehicles. As agents approached, the subjects absconded. The driver of one of the vehicles attempted to run over an agent and fled at a high rate of speed. The driver later abandoned the vehicle and absconded. Agents subsequently re-located all three vehicles and found the marijuana inside.

The subject had also been previously removed from the United States.
