Del Rio Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Comstock, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a Paisas gang member and records checks revealed he had been previously removed from the United States.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,448 pounds of marijuana, a 2003 Lincoln and a 2001 Dodge near Penitas, Texas. The drivers abandoned the vehicles and absconded into Mexico when encountered by agents. A search of the vehicles revealed 99 bundles of marijuana.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents and a Customs and Border Protection Office of Air and Marine (OAM) asset seized 1,100 pounds of marijuana and a 1999 Chevrolet near Rio Grande City, Texas. Agents responded to the area after OAM observed subjects loading the narcotics into the vehicle. A search for the suspects yielded negative results.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Sonoita, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for sexual assault in the State of Arizona and had been previously removed from the United States.

Del Rio Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Brackettville, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a Tango Blast gang member. Records checks revealed he had also been previously removed from the United States.
Del Rio Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested a United States Citizen (USC) and recovered two rifles and a shotgun near Asherton, Texas. Agents apprehended the subject shortly after he allegedly burglarized a home. During processing, the subject admitted to being a Mexican Mafia gang member. Records checks revealed he had active arrest warrants for parole violation and burglary in the State of Texas.
Marfa Sector – Border Patrol agents detained a USC and seized a small amount of marijuana near Sierra Blanca, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to his vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed the narcotics as well as a 9 mm Smith and Wesson handgun.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Nogales, Arizona. The subject claimed he was assaulted by a bandit in Mexico prior to entering the United States. He was transported to a local medical facility for treatment and subsequently released into Border Patrol custody.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Nogales, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for lewd or lascivious acts with a child in the State of California, and had been previously removed from the United States.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested a USC near Nogales, Arizona. Records checks revealed he was the subject of an active extraditable warrant for first degree murder in the State of Arizona.

El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near El Centro, California. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for assault to commit mayhem/rape in the State of California and had been previously removed from the United States.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested six illegal aliens from Mexico and seized 1,522 pounds of marijuana near Hidalgo, Texas. Agents encountered several subjects carrying the suspected narcotics, who then attempted to abscond into the brush after seeing the agents. A total of 62 bundles were recovered.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,166 pounds of marijuana and a 1995 GMC Suburban near Rio Grande City, Texas. Agents observed the vehicle being loaded with contraband and deployed a Controlled Tire Deflation Device as the driver attempted to abscond. The driver of the Suburban fled the scene and was not located.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Ajo, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had an active arrest warrant for lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 in the State of California, and had also been previously removed from the United States.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Ajo, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for disorderly conduct to solicit lewd acts in the State of California and had been previously removed from the United States.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Tucson, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history, to include a prior conviction for sex with a minor in the State of California. He had also been previously removed from the United States.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 193 pounds of marijuana, a Dodge Intrepid, and arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Palominas, Arizona. Agents encountered the subject loading the marijuana into the vehicle. During processing, he admitted to being a Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS-13) gang member. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history and had also been previously removed from the United States.

Marfa Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Valentine, Texas. The subject appeared to be suffering from hypothermia and was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released into Border Patrol custody. During processing, he admitted to being a Paisas gang member, and records checks revealed he had been previously removed from the United States.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 2,968 pounds of marijuana, a tractor-trailer, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Falfurrias, Texas. A Z Backscatter X-ray revealed anomalies in the trailer, and a search revealed 210 bundles of marijuana concealed in pallets of limes.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for rape of a minor in the State of California and had been previously removed from the United States.

Marfa Sector – A Border Patrol agent was injured after being dragged by a car leaving secondary inspection at the traffic checkpoint near Sierra Blanca, Texas. Two USCs were being inspected when they abruptly drove away from the checkpoint. The agent was dragged by the vehicle for a short distance. Agents immediately followed the vehicle, performed a vehicle stop and took both subjects into custody.

Del Rio Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Honduras near Carrizo Springs, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being an MS-13 gang member. Records checks revealed he had been previously removed from the United States.
El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Santa Teresa, New Mexico. While evading arrest, the subject struck an agent’s Border Patrol vehicle, and then subsequently crashed his vehicle in the desert. He attempted to abscond and was arrested without further incident.
Marfa Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 174 pounds of marijuana and a 1989 Chevrolet Blazer near Marathon, Texas. An agent initiated a vehicle stop and the driver failed to yield. The vehicle eventually came to a stop and the occupants absconded into Mexico. A search of the vehicle revealed six backpacks with the narcotics inside.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Arivaca, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for aggravated criminal sexual abuse in the State of Illinois, and had been previously removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for sexual intercourse with a minor under 18 in the State of California and had been previously removed from the United States.
