December 22, 2011 – Members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force in the Northern District of Georgia arrested Billy Farmer in Newnan, Georgia. Farmer was wanted by the Richland County Sheriff’s Office for failing to verify current address, a felony of the 4th degree. In April 2008, Farmer was convicted of corruption of a minor and he was classified as a tier II sex offender and required to register every 180 days for a period of 25 years.
December 22, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals Operation Intercept (OPIN) fugitive task force announces the arrest of Jonathan Nathaniel Golden in a local hotel on Wednesday. Golden along with four other inmates escaped from the Elmore County Jail in Wetumpka, Alabama on December 14. Golden went on crime spree from Alabama to South Carolina to include stealing a car with firearms inside and fleeing the area.
December 22, 2011 – Kevin A. Carr, U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin announced the arrest of Francisco Martinez in Green Bay, WI. Martinez was convicted in Douglas County Nebraska of First degree Sexual Assault, Use of a weapon to commit a felony, Terroristic threats and witness tampering in 1997. While awaiting sentencing Martinez fled and has been a fugitive for over 14 years.
December 22, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals Service has announced the addition of Edward Salas to its 15 Most Wanted fugitive list. A convicted child killer, Salas escaped from the Curry County Detention Center in Clovis, New Mexico, on August 28, 2008, and has been on the lam ever since. At the time of his escape, he was serving a life sentence plus 56 years for his role in the murder of 10-year-old Carlos Perez.
December 21, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals led Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force (PSWRFTF) arrested 34 year old Roy Allen Ostergren. Ostergren was wanted out of Texas for Aggravated Assault on a family member. In the early morning hours of December 12th 2011 in Ector County Texas, Ostergren is alleged to have assaulted his common law wife.
December 21, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) Toledo Division arrested Cameron L Stewart, age 29. Stewart was wanted out of Tempe, AZ for conspiracy to sell/transport marijuana and possession of marijuana which occurred in November 2009.
December 20, 2011 – U.S. Marshal Albert Najera, of the Eastern District of California, announced today that the U.S. Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force (PSWRFTF) Fresno Division, arrested 33 year old Jennifer Case, and 39 year old Henry Eliseo Renteria. Both are wanted by the Fresno Police Department for the Murder of 19 year old Michael James Mitchell of Fresno. Renteria was also wanted by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) for violating his conditions of parole.
December 20, 2011 – As her toys were unloaded from the cart onto the conveyor belt, 7-year-old Jackie Vasquez said there was only one word to describe her shopping experience: “fun!” “I didn’t sleep at all last night, and I got up early today to get ready,” she said dancing near the checkout lane at Target. Jackie was one of 40 children in crisis situations who was given the chance to go shopping with a law enforcement officer in the sixth annual Shop with a Cop.

December 19, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force announces the capture of a Pensacola man who is accused of shooting and killing a baby in a housing complex in Pensacola in mid-July of this year. Dwayne Cordell Pinestraw, aka “Money”, was apprehended by the Dallas U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force incident.
December 19, 2011 – A Costa Rican man wanted in his native country for raping a 3-year-old child a decade ago is facing deportation following his capture Friday night by the U.S. Marshals and agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
December 19, 2011 – On December 17, 2011, Deputies from the Northern District of California participated in a memorial run to benefit the Officer James Capoot Family Trust. The two-mile charity event was attended by many members of the Vallejo community, as well as law enforcement from around the bay area. Officer Capoot was shot and killed on November 17, 2011, during a pursuit of a bank robbery suspect following a high-speed chase.
December 19, 2011 – Eric Joe Cabrera, also known as “Chico the Mexican”, was arrested as he exited a Greyhound Bus in the wee hours of Saturday morning by Alice Police Department in Alice, TX. Cabrera had been residing in the Columbia area and is associated with the “Crips” gang.
December 17, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) Akron Division stepped up their efforts to assist with the rash of violence that has occurred in Akron over the last week. The NOVFTF called in Task Force Officers from three counties. Task Force Officers worked non-stop hand in hand with the Akron Police Department, Street Narcotics Uniform Detail (SNUD) unit, hitting the streets non-stop since Thursday morning.
December 16, 2011 – United States Marshal Martin J. Pane announces the arrest of Harry Joline – a 43-year old man from Salem Township, Luzerne County – for Unlawful Restraint, Involuntary Servitude, multiple counts of Assault, Harassment, Flight to Avoid Prosecution, and Violations of federal Supervised Release.
December 16, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) Akron Division arrested Bobby L. Kennedy. Kennedy was wanted by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department on speeding, OVI – under the influence of both alcohol and drugs, driving under suspension, fleeing and eluding police and child endangering that occurred in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Kennedy led police on a high-speed chase with two children in the vehicle.
December 16, 2011 – Earlier this year the U.S. Marshals requested the assistance of America’s Most Wanted (AMW) in exposing an elusive suspect/fugitive named Kenneth Crouch. Crouch is Wanted by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana Probation and Parole, and the U.S. Marshals for a myriad of crimes. AMW put Crouch on their website earlier this year and in November AMW came to Lafayette and filmed a lengthy segment about Crouch and his crimes. AMW will air a segment about Crouch tomorrow on their Fox Special that begins at 7:00 p.m. Central Time.
December 15, 2011 – The United States Marshal Service in New Mexico partnered with the United States Attorney’s Office, the United States Probation Office, and the United States District Court Clerk’s Office and raised over 280 new toys for the United States Marine Corps annual “Toys for Tots” charity. The toy drive ran December 1-14 at both the Albuquerque and Las Cruces offices.
December 15, 2011 – Established eight years ago to combine the talent and resources of a variety of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies toward apprehending dangerous fugitives, the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, based in Chicago, recently netted its 50,000th arrest.
December 14, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) Akron Division and the Southern District of Florida U.S. Marshals arrested Jeremy P. Huth, age 40. Huth was wanted by the New Franklin Police Department on charges of rape of a minor that occurred at the end August of 2011 in New Franklin, Ohio.
December 14, 2011 – A fugitive that was profiled on America’s Most Wanted television show was arrested last night in Las Vegas, Nevada, by the Nevada Fugitive Investigative Strike Team (FIST). Anton Blevins was wanted by the Detroit Police Department for homicide. It is alleged that Blevins had a violent encounter outside of a nightclub in downtown Detroit. During this altercation, Wayne State University cornerback Courtney Cortez Smith was fatally shot.
December 14, 2011 – Deputies and Task Force Officers with the U.S. Marshals Service Southwest Investigative Fugitive Team (SWIFT Task Force) arrested Edward Broussard. Broussard was wanted in connection to a November shooting in Houston, TX which left one man dead and another seriously injured. Edward along with his brother Darrell Broussard are both charged in Texas for Capital Murder and Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon.
December 13, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals from South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia along with Greenville, Spartanburg, and Pickens County Sheriff’s Deputies, Greenville and Mauldin Police Officers, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) completed a successful Sex Offender Community Compliance operation (SOCC) in the upstate during the week of December 5. Operation SOCC targeted 656 active sex offenders being monitored by Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and verified 628 listed offenders.
December 13, 2011 – The United States Marshals Service led Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is pleased to announce the addition of the Kyle Police Department to its fugitive hunting team. Announcing the latest agency to the task force, United States Marshal Robert R. Almonte of the Western District of Texas was on hand at the department’s headquarters to welcome Chief Jeff Barnett to its premier fugitive hunting team.
December 12, 2011 – U.S. Marshal Albert Najera, of the Eastern District of California, announced today that 32 year old, Logan Rafael Quiroga, was arrested on December 9th by Sonora State Police in the city of San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico. This subject was wanted by Tehachapi Police Department for the crime of Murder.
December 12, 2011 – On Friday December 09, 2011 Officers with the Albuquerque Police Department attempted to arrest federal fugitive Fernando Calleros. Calleros was wanted by the United States District Court for failing to comply with his conditions of pre-trial release. Calleros faces federal charges on Fraud by Wire and Mail Fraud where it is alleged he attempted to steal peoples’ identity.
December 12, 2011 – U.S. Marshals have arrested Pasquale Patrick Senatore a 45 year old male in New Jersey for a 2002 warrant out of El Dorado County. In 1998 Senatore is alleged to have forcibly raped a 14 year old female victim repeatedly over a 3 month period.
December 12, 2011 – A Chatham County man wanted on multiple drug charges was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in Okeechobee, Florida on December 10, 2011. Michael J. Cheuvront, 55, was wanted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department.
December 09, 2011 – The United States Marshals Service placed Juan Medina, 23, and his brother Arturo Medina, 24, on the New Mexico’s Most Wanted list. The Medina brothers are Sureno gang members both with violent criminal histories. In November during a fight, the brothers stabbed the victim and then beat him with brass knuckles. In the past 5 years, the Medina brothers have close to 40 contacts with law enforcement officers in Texas and NM.
December 08, 2011 – With the assistance of the United States Marshals Service, Oakland Police Department, San Francisco Police Department, Lexington, Kentucky Police Department, and members of the Oakland Community, the suspect responsible for the shooting death of Kayode Foster outside of the Occupy Oakland encampment at Frank Ogawa Plaza on November 10, 2011 has been arrested.
December 08, 2011 – 15 Most Wanted Addition – The U.S. Marshals have added a suspected child rapist to their 15 Most Wanted fugitive list. Corey Deshawn Gaston is wanted in Michigan by the Detroit Police Department and the U.S. Marshals for failure to appear on the original charges of rape (1st and 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct/person under 13), kidnapping, home invasion and child enticement. A federal warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution has also been issued.
December 08, 2011 – On December 7, 2011 the U.S. Marshals Service auctioned a 1967 Ford Shelby GT500E Cobra in an online auction where the final bidding reached a feverish pace at the final closing moments and sold at a final bid of $132,610.00. The Shelby Cobra is an iconic muscle car and this particular one was seized during a Federal Bureau of Investigation case involving, money laundering, bribery, mail fraud, and a kick-back scheme which led to the administrative forfeiture of the Cobra.
December 07, 2011 – Several pieces of construction equipment formerly belonging to convicted fraudster Linda Tribby are being sold via a live and online auction in Richmond, Va., Friday at 10 a.m. The property, which consists of a Bobcat front loader, a Kubota tractor and a Bobcat snow blade, was seized and forfeited in connection with the criminal conviction of Tribby, who pleaded guilty to one count of bank fraud in March.
December 07, 2011 – The United States Marshals Service for the District of New Mexico arrested Mark Anthony Gutierrez and Rian Chad Williams. Williams was arrested in Las Cruces shortly after being elevated to the Marshals Service Most Wanted Program and Gutierrez was arrested in Rio Rancho on an Albuquerque Metro Crime Stopper tip.
December 05, 2011 – U.S. Marshal Peter J. Elliott announces the launch of a new ability for the public to assist the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force track down wanted fugitives. The Task Force is now able to receive anonymous tips from the public via text message or web tip.
December 05, 2011 – U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced today that the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) arrested alleged rapist Jeremiah Lynn Styers in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Styers was sought on an arrest warrant, dated November 2, 2011 and signed by Magisterial District Judge James H. Sortman in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
December 02, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force (PSWRFTF) Sacramento Division arrested 23 year old Eric Mathew Tabin in South Sacramento. Tabin was wanted for Homicide out of Stockton, California.
December 02, 2011 – Paul Coe White of San Antonio was arrested by U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, in Houston, Texas. White was wanted by the San Antonio Police Department for Robbery, Narcotics and Evading Arrest.

November 30, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force – Richland County Division – tracked down wanted fugitive Demondray Brooks. Brooks was wanted by the Mansfield Police Department on felony warrants for domestic violence, having weapons under disability, aggravated menacing, drug trafficking, and receiving stolen property.
November 30, 2011 – Anthony Allen Ruston, of St. Paul, Minnesota was arrested by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force today just outside San Antonio. Ruston was wanted for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender by the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department. This Failure to Register charge stems from two previous convictions for Sex Crimes involving females under the age of 13.
November 30, 2011 – A Crestview, Florida man wanted in connection with a Homicide and Armed Robbery is finally behind bars after almost two weeks on the run. According to investigators from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Deaundros L. Blackshear was involved in an armed robbery on November 15, 2011 in Destin, Florida which ended in the shooting death of 21 year old Junior Christopher Ferguson.
November 28, 2011 – Deputy United States Marshals from the District of New Mexico arrested Jason Mitchell one of the Albuquerque Police Departments Most Wanted Property Crime Offenders. Mitchell was first featured in December of 2009 after his arrest warrant for failure to comply with conditions of release on charges of attempted burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary was issued on 12/11/2006.

November 16, 2011 – The U.S. Marshals Office of the Eastern District of Oklahoma has continually worked to ensure the legacy of Deputy U.S. Marshal Bass Reeves. On November 30, 2010, the state of Oklahoma proclaimed that day to be “Oklahoma Law Enforcement Hall of Fame Day” and additionally that Bass Reeves be inducted. On December 5, 2010, Deputy U.S. Marshal Bass Reeves was officially inducted into the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Hall of Fame.
