Del Rio Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Del Rio, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a Paisas gang member, and records checks revealed he had been previously removed from the United States.
El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 192 pounds of marijuana, a 1999 Mercury Cougar, and arrested a United States Citizen (USC) near Columbus, New Mexico. The subject failed to pull over when agents attempted a vehicle stop, but abandoned his vehicle a short time later. When agents encountered the subject, he actively resisted arrest, but an agent was able to subdue him and make the apprehension safely.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,157 pounds of marijuana, a Chevrolet van and arrested a USC near San Benito, Texas. The subject was seen leaving an area near the river that was known for drug smuggling activities. When agents initiated a vehicle stop, the marijuana was discovered inside the van.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,176 pounds of marijuana, a tractor-trailer and arrested a USC near Sarita, Texas. The subject was referred to a secondary inspection, and a scan using non-intrusive inspection technology revealed anomalies inside the trailer where the marijuana was concealed.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 2,288 pounds of marijuana at an abandoned residence near Garceno, Texas. Agents responded to a call regarding suspicious activity at the residence, and discovered the marijuana in plain sight.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Lukeville, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for sex with a minor in the State of California and had been previously removed from the United States.
Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,627 pounds of marijuana and recovered a stolen Dodge pickup near Lukeville, Arizona. Agents discovered the vehicle abandoned and a search revealed the marijuana inside.

Marfa Sector – Border Patrol agents seized three pounds of marijuana, a loaded 9mm Beretta handgun, a 2001 Ford Econoline van, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Sierra Blanca, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed the marijuana and the pistol inside the van.

Del Rio Sector – Border Patrol agents assisted local law enforcement officers in seizing 110 pounds of marijuana, and in the rescue and subsequent arrest of a juvenile USC near Eagle Pass, Texas. The subject failed to yield to law enforcement, and then jumped into the Rio Grande River in an attempt to abscond into Mexico. The subject became distressed and agents deployed a rescue disk and safely removed him from the river.
El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Calexico, California. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for lewd and lascivious acts with a child and had been previously removed from the United States.

Del Rio Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 771 pounds of marijuana, a Ford truck, and arrested a USC near Del Rio, Texas. Agents conducted a vehicle stop and subsequently discovered the marijuana. During processing, the subject admitted to being an Aryan Circle gang member.
El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near El Centro, California. Records checks revealed the subject is a convicted sex offender and had been previously removed from the United States.
El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Records checks revealed the subject is a member of both the Southside 13 and Barrio Azteca gangs. He also had an extensive criminal history and had been previously removed from the United States.
Marfa Sector – Border Patrol agents seized ½ pound of marijuana, eight hydrocodone pills, a 2005 Subaru, and arrested two USCs and two nationals of the Philippines at the traffic checkpoint near Sierra Blanca, Texas. The narcotics were discovered when the subjects presented themselves for inspection.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,146 pounds of marijuana and a 1994 Ford pickup near Granjeno, Texas. During routine patrol duties, agents encountered several subjects in the pickup. As agents approached, the subjects abandoned the vehicle and absconded into Mexico.
Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 922 pounds of marijuana, a Chevrolet truck, a Chevrolet Tahoe, and arrested two USCs, one national of Mexico, and one illegal alien from Mexico near Cuevitas, Texas. While on routine patrol duties near the Rio Grande River, agents observed a boat circling in the river while the two vehicles were on the river bank. When agents approached, the Tahoe sped off. Both occupants abandoned the vehicle in the brush and fled on foot. Customs and Border Protection Office of Air and Marine air assets and local law enforcement officials assisted in locating both subjects. A search of the Tahoe revealed the marijuana. Both trucks were seized and the boat returned to Mexico.

El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 44.46 pounds of cocaine, a Ford truck, and arrested a national of Mexico at the traffic checkpoint near Niland, California. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed the cocaine hidden inside.
