Last summer, the rezoning for a mosque was approved by the Henrico Board of Supervisors in Virginia over the objections of local residents on Impala Drive in Lakeside. This mosque was presented as a needed service to the growing Muslim community in the greater Richmond area, especially those living north of the James River. During the deliberations on the approval of the mosque on Impala last year, the BOS stated that they were “compelled” to yield to the demands of the US Department of Justice to approve the mosque.

lawfare1The Henrico BOS approved the mosque on Impala Drive after being sued by the Department of Justice.  This suit was a direct result of a suit filed by 1241 Associates – the entity behind the Impala mosque.

As a result of the DOJ suit, Henrico County signed the following consent order and invited 1241 Associates to re-submit their application for approval – which was granted in the public BOS meeting on August 24, 2011.

The DOJ suit was brought under RLUIPA which prohibits discrimination against places of worship in issues of planning approval, etc. absent a “compelling governmental interest”.  See the DOJ’s explanation of RLUIPA here:  http://www.justice.gov/crt/about/hce/rluipaexplain.php. 

Now it appears that this mosque is not sufficient and that they need more.

To add insult to injury, the former owner of the property at Hungary and Wilshire and her family, after raising concerns about the plans for the mosque, has become the victims of an intimidation campaign aimed at silencing her and others.  The owner of the property and her children are being harrassed by groups of Muslims and her dog has been severely beaten.  This is clear evidence of an escalation in aggressive and violent behavior in order to silence any and all opposition to the approval of the Hungary/Wilshire mosque. 

I urge you to individually contact your BOS members and bring these issues, all of them compelling governmental interests” to their attention:

Background – This document, dated 1991,  was discovered in a secret sub basement of the home of a Hamas/CAIR operative in Annandale, VA during an FBI raid (post 9/11) and introduced as evidence in the Holyland Foundation trail brought by the DOJ under the charge of terror funding in 2007– introduced into evidence without objection by the defense. Note: this document is what it says – “an explanatory memorandum”. It was meant to expand on an original document issued by the Shura Council (affiliated with ISNA, I believe) in 1987.

This original document on which the Explanatory Memorandum is based has yet to be found.  All of the affiliated organizations were cited as unindicted co-conspirators and are Islamic and Muslim organizations that we are familiar with – CAIR, ICNA, ISNA, NAIT, MSA, MAS, etc.  – ALL front groups for the Muslim Brotherhood – an organization engaged in an influence operation bent on subverting American society and forcing us into submission to them.

Eric Holder has refused to pursue the unindicted co-conspirators in the same manner that he refuses to pursue the New Black Panthers for voter intimidation, Instead the DOJ has chosen to promote and facilitate the building of mosques in our midst.

4- Understanding the role of the Muslim Brother in North America:

The process of settlement is a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious
over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.

17- Understanding the role and the nature of work of “The Islamic Center” in every city with what achieves the goal of the process of settlement:

The center we seek is the one which constitutes the “axis” of our Movement, the “perimeter” of the circle of our work, our “balance center”, the “base” for our rise and our “Dar al-Arqam” to educate us, prepare us and supply our battalions in addition to being the “niche” of our prayers.

This is in order for the Islamic center to turn – in action not in words – into a seed “for a small Islamic society” which is a reflection and a mirror to our central organizations.

The center ought to turn into a “beehive” which produces sweet honey. Thus, the Islamic center would turn into a place for study, family, battalion, course, seminar, visit, sport, school, social club, women gathering, kindergarten for male and female youngsters, the office of the domestic political resolution, and the center for distributing our newspapers, magazines, books and our audio and visual tapes.

In brief we say: we would like for the Islamic center to become “The House of Dawa”‘ and “the general center” in deeds first before name. As much as we own and direct these centers at the continent level, we can say we are marching successfully towards the settlement of Dawa’ in this country.Meaning that the “center’s” role should be the same as the “mosque’s” role during the time of God’s prophet, God’s prayers and peace be upon him, when he marched to “settle” the Dawa’ in its first generation in Madina. (Mohammed’s conquest of first Medina and Mecca and then the rest of Saudi Arabia while slaughtering all those who stood in his way or would not convert to Islam) from the mosque, he drew the Islamic life and provided to the world the most magnificent and fabulous civilization humanity knew.  This mandates that, eventually, the region, the branch and the Usra turn into “operations rooms” for planning, direction, monitoring and leadership for the Islamic center in order to be a role model to be followed.

Also, who is funding the mosque and who holds the title.  The majority of titles to the mosques in the US are held by the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) much like the mosque planned in Charlottesville, VA. This is quote from their documents about the new mosque project in C’ville: “This land measures 0.67 acres and has been entrusted to the North American Islamic Trust.”  The NAIT site is here: http://www.nait.net/. NAIT is also one of the unindicted co-conspirators named in the Holyland Foundation Trial – One of the many affiliated Islamic organizations that the DOJ refuses to prosecute.

In short, all of the unindicted co-conspirators have yet to be charged. Actually the DOJ dropped the case! And the information from the trial has been provided to accused terrorists but the DOJ refuses to provide the same information to Congress!  Appalling!

  • PUBLIC SAFETY – Present them with this ground-breaking research that examines the correlations between Sharia adherence and violent dogma in American mosques: http://mappingsharia.com/.  Throughout the western world, the saturation of mosques is directly correlated to an increase in crime in general and crime against non-Muslims and women in particular.  Add to this the increases in traffic, water run-off issues and noise pollution and the result is a most unsavory environment. Quote from the study – “Of the 100 mosques surveyed, 51% had texts on site rated as severely advocating violence; 30% had texts rated as moderately advocating violence; and 19% had no violent texts at all….In 84.5% of the mosques, the imam recommended studying violence-positive texts….Fifty-eight percent of the mosques invited guest imams known to promote violent jihad.” Certain questions must be answered before approving any mosque – where is their funding coming from, what texts will they be using, and who will be the imam and where was he trained.
  • GENDER EQUALITY – This is a women’s issue as well.  Islamic doctrine considers women as less equal than men in all things:
    Marriage – polygamy, under-age marriages, forced marriages
    Inheritance – women get half the share of their male siblings
    Physical safety – a Muslim husband has the right to beat his wife and no one has the right to interfere, much less ask why. Other violent aspects towards women include female genital mutilation, “honor” killings, and being forced to cover oneself.  Don’t be deluded into thinking that it’s an issue of “modesty”.  The imposition of the portable shroud on women is due to the fact that in Islam the female body, in its entirety, is considered an obscenity.  As we have witnessed throughout the Western world, in Muslim dominated neighborhoods women who do not comply with the Islamic rules of “modesty” are verbally and physically abused, treated as whores and are “fair game” for any Muslim male. Make no mistake – we are beginning to see this in the US as well. 

    Equality before the law – a women’s testimony is worth one half that of a man’s. Mothers have no rights to custody of their children past the age of 7 or 8 in divorce. The rights of a wife in divorce are in general less than those of a man.

The BOS needs a reminder that in six months, Eric Holder will be gone and the residents of Henrico will still be here.  The DOJ already has a full plate – Fast & Furious, the New Black Panthers, etc.

Members of the Henrico BOS need a pointed reminder that their job is not to do the bidding of the DOJ but rather to serve the residents of Henrico and to safeguard their property rights and their personal safety, both of which are already endangered while these mosques have yet to be built!  And if they refuse to do so, maybe we should find someone who will.

SUGGESTION – at the meeting last fall on the Impala mosque, it appeared that those in favor of approval stacked the speaker lists and purposely ran out the clock, leaving almost no time for opponents to speak at the public meeting.  If you plan to attend the meeting on June 12th, make sure you are on the speaker list.  Or call or meet with members of the BOS individually.
