Anyone remember this CNN Poll? http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2010/02/24/?
That is one of many but it has to be cited because it was conducted 8 years ago, and supposedly Obamacare’s poll numbers have done a complete turnaround.
So why Fox, CNN, MSNBC, Reuters, Pew Research, etc., do you persist making sure your latest poll is brought up opposing a wall?
To be clear:
— “7 million uninsured” (even if 17 million) was the amount used to upend and change 1/6th of the U.S. Economy;
— 320 million Americans were FORCED into Obamacare, and, if that poll is correct, 233 million of them didn’t want Obamacare;
— 7 million people (and maybe 17 million) were offset by Obamacare and made uninsurable;
— Deductibles went up to $7,000 on the “Bronze plan” the one for poor people who haven’t got $7,000 to spend before the deductible kicks in; and,
— Of course the “solution” was to have the government subsidize those with low incomes, essentially giving them the gold plan, a legitimized bait and switch at the rest of the taxpayer’s expense.

And this was even something even Liberal/Left/Progressive fact checkers had to be honest about, while taking some math suggestions from political operatives at Progressive Democrat The Daily KOS into consideration, https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2013/10/30/. In other words, the Washington Post did a good deed of non-fake-news and had to then make sure they weren’t betraying their Liberalism by also publishing a “correction” of “fact” or “logic” from only one side of the political aisle.

And you’ll note this is back when Jake Tapper actually made an effort to report news and not merely sensationalize Liberal views. He actually pointed out Speaker Pelosi committing factual error in her denial of knowing Jonathan Gruber, who she had cited previously (Pelosi lied to all of us and Congress at a News Conference, not on the House Floor, for acts we’ll pay for by our tax money but if someone “lies” to an investigator or Congress they are prosecuted by Mueller…. *SMH*)
The point to all of this “nostalgia” is to highlight just a smidgen of the lies told by the leaders of government to snooker & fool the American People about Obamacare, and even some with intention of lying and abusing lack of transparency as a weapon against the American People (even before Hillary Clinton erased 33,000 Secretary of State emails that therefore are property of We The People), but also this:
Obamacare will cost $1,400,000,000,000 over next 10 years!
That’s with a current enrollment of around 30 million or 1/10th, if US Citizens, of the population of Citizens of the United States will soon cost $139,000,000,000/year!(See, https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2016/03/24/.
I guarantee Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, and 800,000 Federal Employees will not blink or question in any way carrying out whatever is necessary to make sure that an additional 1 trillion dollars will be spent. Increasing budgets is how agencies continue to exist long after they should be dismantled, their way of justifying their existence, and a poor metric to use in government’s stewardship of the American Peoples’ money. In regard to Obamacare it’s irrespective of the millions of Americans who either aren’t eligible or do not want to be enrolled in Obamacare.
Yet Nancy Pelosi won’t even give $1 for a wall that would lower the cost of apprehensions & arrests, would not require a much larger and far more costly border patrol force (with associated costs of healthcare, retirement, etc.). The fact is that a wall will substantially lower the conservative estimated $150,000,000,000 per year and growing that’s spent on Illegal Aliens who weren’t talented enough to get visas to overstay but instead just came over our borders and lost the job they had.
Most important regarding any political thinking about all the Progressive pushback on Americans wanting a border wall: Americans elected a President to put up a wall after almost 40 years of waiting. That is, a total of almost 10 times the number of people cited to force Obamacare on the entire American population (until Americans didn’t hate it anymore), 63,000,000+ Americans, voted for Donald J. Trump to be the 45th President of the United States. And what Democrats are doing now is akin to forcing Obamacare on Americans. We are told “NO!” by just one perswho who also wasn’t elected to be President of the United States, Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
That’s the same Nancy Pelosi appearing in videos above who had no trouble telling us to pass a law virtually no Congressman or Senator had time to read in full, the same Nancy Pelosi who denied knowing Professor Gruber – a key architect of Obamacare (and Romneycare) who promoted passage of Obamacare by “We have to pass the bill so you can find out what’s in it away from the fog of controversy,”. In other words what Pelosi ACTUALLY DEMANDS is that Americans accept what she and the Democrat party want to force down our throats without question!
Make no mistake. Pelosi would have made this pitch — equivalent to rubber stamping bank loans which she detests — even if Pelosi knew Obamacare was going to cost twice as much as it was estimated, which it does today. That’s also irrespective of less than 10% of Americans being enrolled in Obamacare. Pelosi didn’t care then about the cost or these people and doesn’t care now about the Wall. It is well known that she and Chuck Schumer voted for physical barriers of walls and fencing, nothing else, to the tune of $25,000,000,000. The entire Pelosi & Progressive point of “no” therefore is government telling Americans what to do, telling Americans what our rights are, telling Americans what we’ll have, what we’ll buy, what Americans shall pay taxes for, with a final absolute goal: Showing Americans that government can force you to do whatever government wants you to do period!
Those who passed Obamacare never cared if getting their right of force over Americans exploits the emotional heartstrings, that game of “more than 7 million people don’t have health insurance.”
Thus it is clear that the right of imposing government force upon Americans at Progressive whim is the only reason those 63,000,000+ Americans who voted for President Trump, but because Nancy Pelosi doesn’t agree with them, are being told “NO! You will not get your wall! NO! You will not get a dollar!” and so in-artfully she fails to end her rhetoric, failing to properly end it in accordance with every other Cat in the Hat rhyme, “That’s what I hollar!”
