Border Patrol agents seized more than 6,393 pounds of marijuana, 206 pounds of cocaine, and 40 pounds of heroin. Agents arrested fifteen criminal aliens and seven gang members. There were seven rocking incidents.

Blaine Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 49.90 pounds of cocaine, $67,790 in U.S. currency, and arrested two illegal aliens from Canada near Blaine, Washington. Records checks revealed that one subject was wanted in Canada for narcotics smuggling and weapons violations.

BPsectormapEl Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Ocotillo, California. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for sexual intercourse with a minor and had been previously removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador near Fort Hancock, Texas. During processing, the subject was identified as a member of the Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS-13) gang and records checks revealed he had been previously removed from the United States.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 3,116 pounds of marijuana, a tractor-trailer, and arrested a United States Citizen (USC) at the traffic checkpoint near Falfurrias, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the trailer. A scan using non-intrusive inspection technology revealed anomalies in the trailer and a subsequent search by agents uncovered the marijuana.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Mission, Texas. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior felony conviction for rape and had been previously removed from the United States.

San Diego Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 34.96 pounds of heroin, a pickup truck, and arrested two nationals of Mexico at the traffic checkpoint near Pine Valley, California. The subjects presented themselves for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle. A subsequent search by agents uncovered the heroin.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 260 pounds of marijuana, two all-terrain vehicles (ATV), a .45 caliber handgun, magazines, and ammunition near Arizona City, Arizona. A CBP Office of Air and Marine air asset helped locate the ATVs which were found abandoned.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. During processing, the subject was identified as a member of the Border Brothers gang and records checks revealed he had been previously removed from the United States.

Blaine Sector – Border Patrol agents seized a loaded 9mm handgun and arrested an illegal alien from Mexico after the subject crossed the Canadian border near Sumas, Washington.

Marfa Sector – Border Patrol agents seized four weapons, ammunition, two vehicles, a small amount of marijuana, two pounds of marijuana brownies, 18 hydrocodone pills, and arrested three USCs at the traffic checkpoint near Sierra Blanca, Texas.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Douglas, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for sex with a minor and had been previously removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador near Green Valley, Arizona. During processing, the subject was identified as a member of the MS-13 gang. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history and had been previously removed from the United States.

El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Calexico, California. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for sexual assault and had been previously removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near El Paso, Texas. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the Border Brothers gang. Records checks revealed he had an extensive criminal history and had been previously removed from the United States.

Marfa Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Thailand near Sierra Blanca, Texas. Records checks revealed the subject had an extensive criminal history and had been previously ordered removed from the United States.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Palominas, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for child fondling and had been previously removed from the United States.

Laredo Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,470 pounds of marijuana, a tractor-trailer, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Laredo, Texas. The subject presented himself for inspection and a Border Patrol canine alerted to the trailer. A subsequent search by agents uncovered the marijuana.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Guatemala near Douglas, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction for unlawful sexual activity with a minor and had been previously removed from the United States.

Laredo Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 5.27 pounds of heroin, a pickup truck, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Laredo, Texas. A Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle and a subsequent search by agents uncovered the heroin.

Tucson Sector РBorder Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Naco, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject was a member of the Sure̱o gang and had been previously removed from the United States.

El Paso Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 93 pounds of marijuana, a vehicle, and arrested two USCs near Las Cruces, New Mexico. One of the subjects was identified as a member of the Barrio Azteca gang.

Tucson Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Why, Arizona. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction in the state of California for annoying/molesting children under 18 and had been previously removed from the United States.

Yuma Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador near Yuma, Arizona. During processing, the subject admitted to being a member of the 18th Street gang. Records checks revealed the subject had been previously removed from the United States.

Buffalo Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Honduras near Fredonia, New York. Records checks revealed the subject had prior convictions in the state of Texas for indecency with a child and aggravated assault. The subject had also been previously removed from the United States.

El Centro Sector – Border Patrol agents arrested an illegal alien from Mexico near Calexico, California. Records checks revealed the subject had a prior conviction in the state of California for sex with a minor and had been previously removed from the United States.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 156.9 pounds of cocaine, a tractor-trailer, and arrested a USC at the traffic checkpoint near Sarita, Texas. A scan using non-intrusive inspection technology revealed anomalies within the vehicle and a subsequent search by agents uncovered the cocaine.

Rio Grande Valley Sector – Border Patrol agents seized 1,454 pounds of marijuana and a sport utility vehicle near Abram, Texas. Agents observed two vehicles near the Rio Grande River and as they approached, the vehicles fled the area at a high rate of speed. One of the vehicles was later found abandoned and the marijuana was discovered inside.
