Why Muslims Believe These Things

The things we are going to talk about today are things that, as bizarre as they are, Muslims believe because they believe that Allah can do anything. Muslims are taught from an early age that you cannot question Allah. They are taught that the Qur’an is the divine word of Allah and that it was dictated word for word to the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad. They are taught that whatever the Prophet said is inspired by Allah so it must be true. Therefore, everything Muhammad or the Qur’an says is supposedly holy and cannot be questioned.

In Islam you have the Qur’an and the Hadith as authoritative writings. The Hadith are the biography and the sayings of the Prophet of Islam. They cannot be questioned but must be accepted just as written. None of the Hadith were written until hundreds of years after the death of Muhammad. If you do question then you are not a good Muslim.

A Muslim has no guarantee of salvation and to question the Qur’an and the Hadith puts one’s salvation in an even more dangerous position. The Qur’an teaches that if one questions the words of Allah they can become an unbeliever or an apostate. It is really that serious for a Muslim.

As we look into some of the bizarre teachings of Islam we will be talking about some things that many Muslims have never heard. If you have been a faithful follower of Fortress of Faith, even if only for a month, you probably know more about Islam and what it teaches than most Muslims will ever know.

Islam is similar to Catholicism in that they are taught that the lay person cannot understand their scriptures. They are to accept what the imams tell them just as the Catholic is to accept what the priest says. True Christians know that they not only can understand the Scriptures, but that we are commanded to study them. We know that we have the Holy Spirit to guide us in our understanding.

The truth is that if the Muslims were to read the Qur’an they would have no problem understanding what it says. They would see what Islam really is.

Where does it say that when a Muslim dies as a martyr he will have the 72 virgins?

This is not something that is found in the Qur’an itself, it is found in the Hadith. It is important to understand that the Hadith are hundreds of thousands of stories written about the Prophet. They include what he said, how he acted, and what he did. The Hadith are seen as equal to the Qur’an. Here is a quote from the Hadith teaching that the martyr will get 73 virgins and be able to intercede for 70 family members.

“The martyr (shaheed) has seven blessings from Allaah: he is forgiven from the moment his blood is first shed; he will be shown his place in Paradise; he will be spared the trial of the grave; and he will be secure on the Day of the Greatest Terror (the Day of Judgement); there will be placed on his head a crown of dignity, one ruby of which is better than this world and all that is in it; he will be married to seventy-two of al-hoor al-‘iyn; and he will be permitted to intercede for seventy of his relatives.”

The 72 Virgins

We have to ask ourselves what could possibly motivate Muslims to die in jihad. Why is this culture of death so prevalent in Islam? Is it an accident? Is it just radical Islam? Or is it the nature of Islam? We have found the answer in what we have been looking at thus far.

As we have seen, when a man dies as a martyr he is promised 72 virgins. We don’t know what happens if it is a woman who dies because neither the Qur’an nor the Hadith speak to this issue.

What would cause someone to do this? The story behind this is that Hamas is getting ready to fire some rockets into Israel from this area. They want these children to be killed or wounded so they can parade them in front of the TV cameras. It is part of the propaganda war.

Why would parents allow this? It is because of the promises made to those who die for Allah in jihad.

This is the dark side of Islam and we must understand it. Until we understand why they are willing to sacrifice their children and why they are so willing to die themselves, we cannot do what is necessary to stop this horrible ideology. This shows their sick demented way of getting on the good side of their god. Outside of this culture of death there is no guarantee of paradise.

A horrible example of this mindset is what the Islamic government did in Iran during their war with Iraq. They convinced the parents to bring their children to them to be martyrs for Allah. They would give them a headband saying they were martyrs. They would give them a chain with a lock and key. This children were then marched into areas where there were mine fields. The children were sent in ahead of the troops to explode the mine so the army could march through safely.

Shahram had two members of his extended family that were killed this way. The families were willing to sacrifice their children this way because they believed that it would guarantee their children and themselves a place in Paradise.

This is not just the radicals. This is the theology of Islam.

We see that this is not just about the 72 virgins and the sexual connotation of martyrdom. It is also about collective salvation.

A Palestinian woman was interviewed by an Israeli journalist. Her son had a heart problem and the Israeli government allowed her and her son to come into Israel so they could try to save her son’s life. When the reporter asked about her motivation she said that if they all had to die for the sake of Jerusalem we will all be glad to die in this cause. She kept saying over and over that this is the way it is, this is their culture, this is what we live for. The reporter asked why they were trying to save her son. What if h grows up and decides to become a martyr? He asked if she would allow this and she said, absolutely. He can become a martyr and we will celebrate. The then asked the reporter, don’t you share that culture of death? He said no, we have a culture of life here in Israel. She responded in a matter of fact way, well that is just the way it is for us.

We must ask why it is this way for them. The answer is that the Prophet Muhammad told them that this is what they must do.

Does this help you understand what is happening in Gaza? This is one of the bizarre teachings that comes out of Islam.

We need to remember that Muhammad was trying to build a kingdom. In so doing he felt that he had to go to war with this or that tribe. He needed to motivate his people to do so. What a great motivation to get young men to fight? You promise them that if they die in jihad they will gain immediate entrance into Paradise, and the will get 72 perpetual virgins for an eternal orgy.

It a kind of debate with a Muslim man, he told me that al-hoor al-‘iyn could be translated a a raisin. It is laughable to believe that they are going to die for 72 raisins.

Some of the things that are said in the Hadith on this subject is not proper for polite company. Let me just say that they are promised to be ever ready for sexual intercourse and the virgins are perpetually regenerated to the state of being a virgin.

Here are some of the things that are taught in Islam on this subject:

1. Qur’an

Surah 56:35-37 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. And made them virgin – pure (and undefiled), – Beloved (by nature), equal in age,-

Surah 52:20 Reclining on ranged couches. And we wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes.

Pre-Occupation with the Breast of these Virgins.

Surah 78:33 And voluptuous women of equal age; or And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age,

2. Commentary – Classical Scholars

Tafsir ibn Kathir is famous all over the Muslim world, and among Muslims in the Western world is one of the most widely used explanations of the Qu’ran today.

Ibn Kathir – on Hadith 2687

Narrated from Abu Sa’id al-Khudhri, (Sahaba = Companion / Disciple of Muhammad) who heard Muhammad saying, ‘The smallest reward for the people of Heaven is an abode where there are eighty thousand servants and seventy-two houri, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls….

Ibn Kathir says that the houri “are delightful virgins of comparable age who never had sexual intercourse with anyone, whether from mankind or Jinns, before their husbands.”

“in the other life, after they became old in this life, they were brought back while virgin, youthful, being delightfully passionate with their husbands, beautiful, kind and cheerful..”

Other Bizarre teachings

Allah turned Jews into Apes and Pigs and Rats

In Bukhari 4.524 and Bukhari 4.32 there is a story where Allah turned a whole village of Jews in to apes, pigs, and rats. The reason Allah did this is because they were fishing on the sabbath. This is one of the references used by Muslims to justify calling Jews apes and pigs. They believe that one day Allah will turn all Jews into apes and pigs.

In Bukhari 3:4365 it tells of the return of the Muslim messiah and it says that Allah will not bring Islam into world domination until he “breaks the cross and kills the pigs.” This is referring to Christians and Jews. They call the Jews pigs because of this story about Allah turning Jews into apes, pigs, and rats.

When Muslims kill Jews, they don’t see it as killing a human, they see it as killing a pig.

This teaching that when a Muslim kills a Jew it is not a human being is like what Hitler used when he had the Jews killed. Hitler taught that the Jews were sub-human, and this is exactly what the Muslims teach.

A martyr is one who dies in the cause of Allah, in jihad. Al-hoor ali’iyn are virgins.

It is important for us to understand that there is more to Islam than just the Qur’an. The Qur’an is the words of Allah and the Hadith are the words of their prophet, Muhammad. Muhammad is the great example that Muslims are to follow. Muslims will revere what he said and want to emulate his life.

Martyrdom is the only way for a Muslim to guarantee his salvation. Salvation is the first of the seven blessings promised to the the martyr. Let’s look at these seven blessings.

• He is forgiven as soon as his blood is shed.

• He is shown his place in Paradise.

• He is spared the trial of the grave.

• He will be secure on the day of judgment.

• He will get a crown of dignity with a ruby more valuable than the world.

• He will be married to 72 virgins.

• He will be permitted to intercede for 70 family members.

Have you ever wondered why a mother could rejoice when one of her children died as a suicide bomber? You have the answer here. Having no guarantee of salvation she is without any real hope of salvation. When here child dies she has someone to intercede and take her to Paradise with them.

Islam is a culture of death. This is why the Palestinians that are fighting Israel welcome death. This is why the people listen when Hamas tells them not to leave their homes when Israel warns of an impending attack. Hamas tells the people that the death of their children is for the cause of Islam and that the children will go to Paradise and intercede for them so they can go there also.

Other bizarre things from Islam

Before I get into some of the other bizarre things from Islam I want us to look at the importance of this word “pig” in the conversation. We need understand what a pig is to a Muslim. It is doubtful that any animal ranks below a pig to a Muslim. We know that the Jews consider a pig to be an unclean animal. The Muslims also consider a pig to be unclean, but they go even farther.

Muslims have tried to close down restaurants because of the smell of cooking bacon. There is not much that a Muslim could call a Jew that would express more disgust and animosity.

According to Bukhari 3:4365 the hour of Islamic domination will not come until Isa, the son of Miriam, (Jesus) descends a a just ruler. There are three things he is supposed to do. First he will break the cross.

The cross is an offense to Islam because the Qur’an denies that Jesus died on the cross. It says the he appeared to die on the cross, but Allah had put Jesus’ image on another and it was not Jesus on the cross.

The second thing Isa will do is kill the pigs. This is talking about the Jews.

The third thing he will do is abolish the Jizya tax.

Remember, Jesus, the Muslim Isa, is a Jew, a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Are we to believe that he is to kill his own people? Yes, because he is a prophet of Allah and because the Jews have been lowered to a sub-human state.

We can say that these are bizarre teachings, but these teachings are driving their doctrine and their mentality just as it drove Hitler’s mentality. We saw the result there and if we don’t stand up to Islam and its mentality we are going to see the same thing happen again.

In Europe and North America we are seeing a rise in antisemitism. This is happening because of the propaganda campaign of Islam.

Drink Camel Urine for your health.

Muhammad taught that if you have a health problem you are to drink camel urine. Not just any camel urine will work. It has to be from the camels in Mecca.

A recent report out of Egypt says they are producing tablets made from camel urine. Researchers in Saudi Arabia says they have found a like to camel urine that will cure cancer.

Narrated Abu Qilaba:

Anas said, “Some people of ‘Ukl or ‘Uraina tribe came to Medina and its climate did not suit them. So the Prophet ordered them to go to the herd of (Milch) camels and to drink their milk and urine (as a medicine). So they went as directed and after they became healthy, they killed the shepherd of the Prophet and drove away all the camels. The news reached the Prophet early in the morning and he sent (men) in their pursuit and they were captured and brought at noon. He then ordered to cut their hands and feet (and it was done), and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron, They were put in ‘Al-Harra’ and when they asked for water, no water was given to them.” Abu Qilaba said, “Those people committed theft and murder, became infidels after embracing Islam and fought against Allah and His Apostle .”

Sahih Bukhair 1:234

The Sun sets in a pool of muddy water.

This one come from the Qur’an surah 18:83-86:

They ask thee concerning Zul-qarnain. (Alexander the Great) Say, “I will rehearse to you something of his story.” Verily We established his power on earth, and We gave him the ways and the means to all ends. One (such) way he followed, Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: ….

This is supposed to be one of Islam’s greatest scientific discoveries. Remember that in the 7th century there were a lot of things about the world that were not understood. At that time many believed that the world was flat. The Bible is always correct when it comes to scientific things, but the Qur’an falls woefully short. Muslim scholars work very hard to change the meaning of this passage.

This passage clearly says that the sun sets in a spring of murky water.

When we look at this there are two things we must remember. First, Islam teaches that the Qur’an was dictated word for word by Allah. This means that all of it has to be 100% correct. Secondly, this passage is not allegorical. The context is talking about Alexander the Great. It teaches that Alexander was given knowledge by Allah and this knowledge is that when the sun sets, it actually sets in the water, a spring, or pool of murky water.

For this, and many other reasons, the Qur’an cannot be the word of god.

We may laugh at some of these bizarre things, but we are not trying to mock Islam, In fact, these things make us sad. It is sad that people would accept some of these things as coming from God. What we are trying to do is point out that Islam is a false religion and a false ideology. It is something from which Muslims must be rescued.

This ideology has enslaved one and a half billion people and is now confusing our churches. Some Christians are starting to think that maybe Allah and Jehovah are the same God. Maybe the Bible and the Qur’an have a common word. How can the be common if the Qur’an is scientifically in error?

Our hearts are not to laugh or mock, our hearts are to show how foolish this is and how this foolishness is creating a culture of death.

If Muslims would just read their own scriptures you would think it would cause them to leave Islam. On rare occasion it may do so, but remember they are taught not to question Allah.

Rules for going to the Bathroom

Believe it or not, we are not making this up. Islam does have strict rules for going to the bathroom. The following information is from the Reliance of the Traveller, which is the handbook of Islamic law.

The Reliance of The Traveller is where all of the Islamic scholars came together in the 1400;s brought together all of the teachings of Islam into one source so all Muslims would know how to live. It gets into such details of one’s life as how to go to the bathroom.

Here are some of the things it teaches on this subject:

•   You must enter the bathroom with your left foot.

•   When you leave you must walk out with your right foot.

•   Before entering you are to say “In the name of Allah. O Allah, I take refuge in You from demons, male and female,”

•   After leaving you must say “[O Lord,] Your forgiveness: Praise be to Allah who rid me of the hurt and gave me health”

•   You must put most of your weight on the left foot while squatting.

•   You are not to spend a long time.

•   You are to speak.

•   If the toilet faces so that you back is toward Mecca you must sit on it sideways so your rear does not face the Holy City.

•   Not to urinate into holes, on hard places, where there is wind, in waterways, where people gather to talk, on paths, under fruit trees, near graves, in still water, or in less than 216 liters of running water.

This is what Man’s religion will do. The Jews in New Testament times were guilty of doing the same thing. They took the law of God and added man’s rules to it.

Muhammad’s mole on his back/shoulder –proof that he is God’s prophet.

The Qur’an says in Surah 33:40 that there was a mark on Muhammad to prove that he was Allah’s prophet. This also come from the Hadith; Bukhari 1.189; 4.741; Muslim 4.5790-5793.

Men who slept in a cave for 300 – 309 years.

This is found in Surah 18:9-25. It says that some men and a dog entered into a gave and slept for some 300 to 309 years.

Man who was dead for 100 years and was resurrected.

Surah 2:259. In the Bible Lazarus died as was resurrected after four days. Maybe the Qur’an was trying to get one up on the Bible.

As I said before, we are not trying to mock Islam or Muslims. We are just trying to show that this is a false religion. This religion is evil and destructive. It is a religion of death, not only for those outside of Islam, but also for Muslims themselves. Those who are caught in its tentacles need to be rescued. It is our hope that those who follow our ministries will have the compassion and concern to learn how to bring Muslims to Christ.
