Continuity of Government or Martial Law
(Zones are Replacing Counties (no sheriffs??, 50 States are Ten Zones)
Some of the things we have heard over the time we have been broadcasting on the radio are cause for concern. Today I want to share some of our concerns over where our nation is heading.
It is important that, as Christians, we handle things correctly. The way we handle things must bring honor to God. The Bible tells us or relationship to government.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. Romans 13:1-2
God is the highest power, but he has given power to government. We are to follow the laws of the government under which we live. We also know that when the disciples were told not to preach the Word it was against what God had commanded them to do. Their response was clear.
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. Acts 5:29
In the Old Testament we see the same principle when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendnego refused to bow to the Idol of Nebuchadnezzar. Even Daniel disobeyed the ordinances of man. There is a place for disobedience to man’s laws.
We are not going to discuss how we should do things. We are going to look at what is happening and try to see if we are heading toward a revolution. Are things going to get violent? If they do, what are we to do as Christians? Are there things we can do to resist government in a peaceful manner?
We have come full circle as a nation. Our founders faced similar circumstances 239 years ago. Our founders were called radicals and traitors. They understood that when the laws of man contradict the laws of God they had a choice to make. They understood that they must obey God over man and face the consequences.
Esther, when Mordecai challenged her, knew when she went to the king she was breaking the law, but she said “If I perish I perish.” She knew that what she had to do was the right thing.
In Romans 13 we are, first of all, subject to the highest authority, and this authority I God. Nevertheless, as Christians, we are to be law abiding citizens.
What is the state of our nation? Would any of us dispute that we are now in a lawless state? Our government no longer follows the rule of law. To our government, laws matter when it is convenient for them, but not when they are not. The Supreme Court passes homosexual marriage and people say it is the law of the land now and we must obey it. On the other hand, people are coming into our country illegally and we are told that we should have compassion for them.
As Christians we are called to be people of order, people of the law. This includes both God’s law and the laws of government. When there is a contradiction between the two we are to follow the higher law, which is God’s law.
Here is a quote from Thomas Jefferson, one of our founders. It has to do with understanding our liberty.
And can the liberties of the nation be thought secure when we have removed there only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God, that they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever.
We must understand that our rights come from God, not from government. The purpose of government is to secure those rights. It is not to add to God’s laws or to change them.
When the Supreme Court decision came down on same-sex marriage, the White House was lit up in rainbow colors. Does anyone think that they were able to put that display together in just a couple of hours? Do you think they might have had a heads-up from the Court?

Our government is lawless. It is operating unconstitutionally.
The Declaration of Independence gives us a long list of abuses by the British government. They understood the importance of being able to speak one’s mind. This is why the Bill of Rights gives us the right to assemble and to redress our grievances to our government. My question to you is, is our government listening any more? Do they even care what we think?
The Bible tells us, as Christians, not to fear man, but to fear God. We are not talking about a fear of man, we are talking about our concerns. We believe that God is leading us to prepare God’s people for the days ahead.
Our nation was set up as a constitutional republic, not a democracy. I believe that this is gone. Our fight must begin at the local level. We are in deep trouble because we have essentially told God that we don’t want Him to have any part in this nation and our government.
We have a President and a Department of Justice that is totally lawless. They only enforce the laws that they like. They ignore the laws that they don’t like. They go so far as to instruct law enforcement officials not to enforce certain laws.
If I understand our Constitution, the President is the head of the executive branch. This means that his job is to execute, or carry out, the laws of the land. He doesn’t get to choose which ones he likes and which ones he doesn’t like. If he wants to write law he needs to become a legislator.
Our President has instructed our immigration enforcement people, ICE, not to enforce immigration laws. One of the many functions of our government is to secure the boundaries of the United States and control immigration. Those who do enforce immigration laws will have their careers destroyed by this administration.
We have a candidate running for the Democratic nomination for the President of the United States who is under a criminal investigation by the FBI. She set up a private email server for her official email. Contrary to her claims, she had classified material on this insecure server. She destroyed evidence according to her own testimony. She has obstructed justice in the investigation. All of these are felonies. If she was a Republican she would have probably been arrested long ago.
It is as if the nation doesn’t care if a criminal is elected to the presidency. I believe this is because of the spiritual condition of our nation.

Is Obama Instigating the Revolution?
Is it just me, or does it seem that Obama is doing all he can to get conservatives upset enough to go to the streets with our guns in protest? If we do that, doesn’t it give Obama the perfect occasion to declare martial law? Could this be his goal?
Today we are making suppositions, something that we don’t normally do. Today we are taking the time to simply look at what is going on and ask some hard questions.
I don’t think it is an accident that this administration is doing things to overwhelm and frustrate the American people. This includes the many things this administration has done on immigration, illegal executive orders, taking away property rights, attacking gun rights, and now attacking religious liberties. Add to this the race batting, the race riots, and the anti-police attitudes of this administration, how can you not believe that it is intentional?
There are other things happening also. At the same time that the Supreme Court gave its decision on same-sex marriage, Congress passed the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which gives up American sovereignty. We have Obama Care being used to take away religious rights. Globalism is being forced upon us through UN rulings. It is not just Obama, there are others pushing these things also.
I don’t see how this cannot be intentional. If it is not, why do we see the Jade Helm training in the streets of Texas cities. Why is this training in conservative Texas, and not liberal New York or California? This caused enough concern for the Governor of Texas to call out the State Guard to keep an eye on them. It looks to me that they are paving the way for martial law. We are not saying that Jade Helm is an attempt to take over our country, but it is a rehearsal.
Another thing the government has been doing is purchasing large amounts of ammunition. Some of the agencies that are doing this make no sense. Why would agencies like the Post Office, the Department of Energy, the EPA, etc. need so much ammunition?
It is illegal to bring military personnel into American cities and to quarter them there, unless there is an act of war. They are desensitizing the nation to the violation of this principle.
When and if we come out and protest peacefully we need to pray for God’s wisdom. We need discernment and we need to do things lawfully. We cannot usurp authority that belongs to the government.
By way of example, look at David and Saul. Saul had become a bad king. He was clearly oppressing God’s people. He was hunting down David to kill him. David had enough wisdom to know that he could not be the one to take Saul out. He understood that he had to let God do it in God’s time.
Another Bible illustration is the story of Jericho. We know that God did the work of bringing the walls down. The people had a role after the walls came down. They were to go in and take the city.
What we are seeing is not being called martial law, it is about continuity of government. In Washington State, they have attempted to pass a law on continuity of government. Fortunately there was opposition and it did not pass committee. Because if failed in the legislature, the Governor used and executive order to the State Guard and other state agencies to implement this principle.
The most troubling thing is they presented the legislature with a map of Washington State. The state has 39 counties, but this map had 13 zones. The reason is that in the event that continuity of government (martial law) was invoked, it would suspend the state and federal constitutions and declare a new dynamic. If there are 39 counties, are their not 39 sheriffs and 39 county governments? These are duly elected people. What happens to them? Their authority will be usurped and someone from the top will decide who the 13 leaders of these zones are.
Historically there was a law on the books in Washington State about continuity, but it was in the event of a nuclear attack. It was to reestablish government in the event the the elected leaders were killed in an attack. In this law, the authority was brought to the next lower government. For example, if the state government was destroyed it went to the county governments.
This continuity is now being planned across the country. FEMA has a plan that in the event of some emergency there will not be 50 states, there will be 10 zones. Who is going to run those zones? The authority of the state and local governments will be suspended. This is what we are concerned about. This is not some theory, this is already in the planning. Shahram has seen the maps, he has been briefed by the legislators who sat in committee. This is tyranny because there is an oligarchy at the top which will determine what will happen. They will be able to keep their power by bringing in the military and militarized police departments.
Obama knows that if he makes our guns illegal the American people will go to the streets with their guns. This is what he wants, and we need to be smarter than this.

The Administration Has Attacked Liberty, Gun Rights, Freedom of Speech and the very Foundation of What Makes America Great
This administration has attacked just about everything trying to provoke a reaction. It has attacked religious liberty, gun rights, freedom of speech, etc. The one thing that it keeps returning to is gun rights. The Second Amendment is critical to the protection of our other freedoms. This amendment was given to guarantee a free republic.
There have been some references, how ever jokingly they may have been, about a third Obama term. There are people who are concerned about what would happen if continuity of government was declared. What would happen if Obama declared that because of the turmoil in America he could not leave office?
While in Kenya, Obama rebuked the Kenyan leaders for not leaving office when they should of, and then went on to joke about his third term. Here is a link to what he said:
He can’t run for a third term under the Constitution. But if he suspends the Constitution he can do what ever he wants. He criticizes the African leaders for declaring martial law and taking over while systems are being put it place to do the same thing here. He is using his pen and his phone to rule like a dictator and put in place the laws he wants, while removing those he doesn’t.
What is Obama doing to the military? If he wants to take over the country, he must be able to control the military. Many military officers have been asked if they will fire on American citizens. Those who say they won’t seem to be removed as soon as possible. They are usually removed by putting pressure on them to resign.
According to sources in the military, company grade and field grade officers that won’t shoot Americans are being purged. These are the ones who actually lead the men. On top of this they are femenizing our military, promoting homosexuality, promoting transvestites, all of which weaken our military. We see them purging our military of the Christian faith. Similar things are being done in law enforcement.
This should be of great concern to us. If the military will not stand up against tyrannical actions we are in real trouble.
Recently we have seen an attack on gun ownership by seniors. They are saying that seniors are not capable of rational decisions because of declining mental powers. This, again, has been done by executive order.
Recently, in Washington State, a group of patriots received a call from an Idaho official who said he had a man in his district, a Viet Nam vet, who received a letter from the VA stating they were coming in to take over his finances because he had had a stroke and they had deemed him incompetent. There was never a meeting with him. No tests were done. There was no appeal process. They just decided that because he had had a stroke he was not able to govern his own affairs. The letter also said that on a certain date they were going to come and take his guns.
There was an organized protest and the county sheriff showed up. He came down on the side of the man and said that he would not allow the VA to take this man’s gun. In this case the VA backed off when they saw the force of the opposition.
The media showed up and interviewed the vet. He was completely lucid. He was standing up. He could rattle off phone numbers. The VA letter would have led us to believe that he was in a wheelchair, drooling form the side of his mouth, and couldn’t put two words together.
This is an example of how, at the local level, we can push back while we still have the opportunity. We can’t wait until they do mass confiscation. We must show up at the individual events. We must stand up before it is too late.

Segment Four
We have been talking about the problems. Now I want to look at solutions. If we don’t do thing right we could have a bloody revolution. I am not a conspiracy person, but I like the way my father-in-law puts it, “there is a conspiracy, and Satan is at the head of it. Those involved don’t even know they are in a conspiracy.” Satan hates America because it has been a godly nation. He wants to destroy it any way he can.
Something has to happen because no one has ever been able to show me America in Bible prophecy. Those who say they can, do so by stretching the Scriptures.
It is wise for us, as Christians, to prepare for the days ahead. Some say that if we prepare for what is coming we show a lack of faith. We believe that God is our Protector, and that He is in total control. He has, however, given us a brain to use. There are some things that we can do, both as individual Christians, and as churches, to protect ourselves from what lies ahead.
We are not talking about having stockpiles of weapons, ammo, and food. We do need to know that if a fight is coming, and if it will be fought in our area, food and supplies will be scarce. We need to start training ourselves for what is ahead. We need to know how to heat our homes without electricity. What can I do if I don’t have gas for my car? We need to think about what we would do if this happens in my community. Do we have supplies to last for three or four weeks is an emergency comes.
Another thing that will fail if these things come to pass is communications. You can be sure that if there is a war, be it what we have been talking about or from a foreign source, the Internet will be down, phones will be off line, and the enemy will block as much communications as possible to stop any resistance.
We are educating ourselves and getting the equipment for ham radio and shortwave communications. If these thing happen you need to have a good shortwave radio receiver that can be battery powered so you can keep up on what is happening.
We are a nation that is spiritually divided. Even as “Christians” we are divided. Many who call themselves Christians are trying to vacate God’s Word. It seems that every day there are more and more professing Christians who discount God’s Word and its precepts.
We are politically divided. When we legalize same-sex marriage and the murder of unborn children, something is seriously wrong. There are videos that clearly show the evil of abortion and the callousness of groups like Planed Parenthood. God is allowing this evil to be exposed for what it is. Our political leaders will do nothing in spite of the evidence.
The last straw against this nation is how we are treating Israel. This Iran deal pits the whole world against Israel.
With all of these things showing our rejection of God and His precepts, I believe that God’s judgment is falling on America. The fact that America does not show up in Bible prophecy would tend to support the idea that this nation will soon fall. It is likely that the nation will be broken up. We will need to look for areas of refuge. In the Inland North West, there are hundreds of people who say the Lord has moved them to this area to prepare places of refuge.

Most people don’t know that our founders had established these committees, committees of correspondence, committees of safety where they were dealing with practical issues like communications and filing grievances, etc. These committees were actually formed several years prior to the Revolutionary War.
Most Americans don’t know that it was the delegates of these committees that convened at the first and second Continental Congresses in Philadelphia. It was these delegates that signed the Declaration of Independence.
We are starting to see these assemblies form again. They are made up of God fearing people who are assembling together in preparation for what is to come.

This is part of the constitutional way to deal with this kind of issues. This is why we have the right of assembly and the right of redressing our grievances with our government.
We have a right of self-defense. This is exactly what we are doing.

We are to be alert and prepared for what may come. The Bible says we are to be “wise as serpents, and harmless ass doves.” When we get to the end of ourselves we see the beginning of God. For encouragement in these troubled times we need to remember Psalms 121.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Psalms 121:1-8
Our help comes from God. Our nation was great because we founded it upon God’s principles. John Adams put it this way:
Our constitution was made for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.
We have kicked God out of our public life and we have all of these problems. Could our rejection of God be the cause?
Those who know me, know that I am an optimist. I believe there is hope. I believe that the plan to destroy America will implode, that it will fail. I know that God could use this for victory. Maybe this is an opportunity to show that the liberals and the God haters are wrong. It may swing our nation back to what it once was.
We have a President who has turned on Israel. We are in trouble with God. Obama said the Netanyahu is the only foreign leader that is forcibly interfering with US policy. He says this while making a deal with Iran, a nation who wants to see Israel’s destruction.
The things we have discussed are suppositions and possibilities. We are not saying, nor can we, that these things will happen. We encourage you to study these things out for yourselves. Take this as a warning and do you homework.
