Today I want to look at the Obama administration’s obstruction of the Islamic terrorism investigations. I want to you to see what some key people who have been involved in Homeland Security have to say on this issue. The Obama administration has been tying the hands of the investigators, and has actually had files removed to eliminate evidence. Those who are tasked with keeping America safe from Islamic terrorism are not being allowed to do their jobs properly because of Obama’s policies.
The Orlando shooter called 911 and pledged allegiance to ISIS. He said he was doing this in the name of Allah, and the liberal left is blaming Christians for what happened. At the end of this article I will look at why the liberals are doing this.
The FBI had Omar Mateen on their radar but they couldn’t connect the dots. Why did this happen?
According to our sources within the FBI, they are devastated because they could not stop the Orlando shooting. They say they are blinded and their hands are tied because of this administration. It is coming from the top down. It is not the fault of the agents on the ground trying to do their job. It is the policies put in place, and the files that have been removed by this administration, that is preventing them from acting on these jihadist attacks.
In the two weeks since the shooting a lot of information has come out about what the FBI had on the shooter. In 2013 they had done a full ten month investigation on him. Again, in 2014 another investigation showed his connection to another jihadist, who happened to go to the same mosque,. They had to let him go because they could not get the administration and the Justice Department to prosecute him, even though he had said, “I want to carry out an act of jihad.” He said that he welcomed the FBI to come to his apartment and get into a shootout with him so he could die as a martyr for Allah.
No matter what the liberals say, guns were not the problem. Mateen had been through a full background check and had a special license to carry firearms across state lines. He had, supposedly, been fully checked out, but because he was removed from the terror list, he was allowed to purchase the gun.
In the wake of this, we are finding out that the Obama administration, not only is not wanting to deal with the reality, they are going out of their way to keep Islam out of the investigations. One of the best pieces of evidence for this came out this past week. When they released to transcript of the 911 call from Mateen they redacted those parts where he was pledging allegiance to ISIS, talking about being a soldier of Allah, praising Muhammad and so forth. When he called 911, Mateen was praying and reciting phrases in Arabic. In the transcript Allah was changed to God.
I believe this is an intentional obstruction of justice. I use this phrase vary carefully because “obstruction of justice” is a criminal term.
The reason I believe this is obstruction of justice is because we have a whistle blower telling us what is going on. He is an American hero, and you need to get familiar with his name, Phil Haney. His book “See Something, Say Nothing” has just been released. I haven’t had time to get into it yet, but I am sure that I will have more to say on it in future articles.
The FBI has a campaign called “See Something, Say Something” to encourage people to say something to security people if they see something suspicious. However, if you work in the security agencies, under the Obama administration you are not allowed to say something if you see something if it has anything to do with Islam.
You need to know who Haney is. Haney was a founding member of the Passenger Analysis Unit, or PAU, under Customs and Border Protection. In 2003, he established the PAU as a stand-alone agency. It is charged with “vetting, investigating, finding addresses, making connections, and putting the dots together” on persons entering the United States who might be security threats. He was one of the Original analyst in the launch of the DHS. His experience at the PAU, his time in the Middle East, his understanding of the Qur’an and Islamic culture, his training in Islamist terrorist strategy, qualify him as an expert on Islamic issues. He was given a commendation letter for finding 300 terrorists related specifically to the initiative.
Since the putting in place of Obama’s policies, files on the work that Haney and done have been purged from the databases. This was done because these files pointed the finger at Islam.
There was a press conference at the National Press Club with Phil Haney, Michelle Bachmann, and others discussing this issue. We learn that he was forced to remove files from the work that he had done.
Under the guise of civil rights and civil liberties of foreign nationals, we cannot look at certain things because of the constraints the Obama administration has put upon our security agencies. Probably more important than this is the removal of information that is already in the record.
Based upon this press conference we know that people in Congress, like Michelle Bachmann, have tried to bring this information to the forefront. Congress did nothing when presented with the information. This includes Republican leaders, who worked just as hard as the Democrats to stop the information from coming out.
In 2006, under the Bush administration, the Muslim Brotherhood had already infiltrated our national security apparatus. When Haney was presenting information that was derogatory towards Muslims, instead of investigating the Muslims involved, he was investigated.
In the press conference Haney shows two purges, the first in 2009, when Obama came to office, and the second in 2012. Not only did they shut down the Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terror financing trial in American history and which exposed the Muslim Brotherhood, they also began to intentionally remove people in these agencies who were subject matter experts. They actually went after Haney personally. At one point there were three agencies investigating him simply because he was giving factual information and trying to connect the dots.
Haney said that he had information that would have potentially stopped the attacks in San Bernardino and Orlando. The terrorists in both of these were connected to the same Islamist movements.
The question that we must answer is this; Are the hands of our federal agencies being tied, and is it being done intentionally? There is, in my mind, no doubt that our federal agencies hands have been tied because of this administration’s policies.
Is this the result of failed policies like some are saying? I don’t think so. I believe these policies are intentionally designed to hinder our security people. I know that these are strong statements, but I believe the information we have leaves us with no other possibility.

Every since Obama came to office we have been telling you that all references to Jihad and Islamic terrorism has been purged from the training manuals in our security agencies. Prior to Obama, our security agencies were able to consider Islam as a motive in their investigations.
I downloaded the 9/11 Report and did the search myself, and you can do the same, and found the following word usage:
- Jihad —- 126 times
- Islamic — 142 times
- Muslim ——138 times
It is clear that Islam had an impact on the motivation for the attack on 9/11. The word jihad is removed all of the procedural manuals for those who are charged with our security. When the hear the word “jihad” they are to look the other way. When the hear the word “Islamic” they cannot consider it in thee investigations.
It is clear that these attacks are Islamic, and they will continue to be Islamic until we admit that our problem is Islam. Islam is the ideology and motive behind these terrorist attacks.
The counter terrorism apparatus has several branches. Homeland Security is the umbrella organization. Under the Justice Department there is the FBI. There is the CIA, which is more covert. The main investigative organization is the FBI when the attacks are on American soil. There is also the Department of Defense and the Justice Department, itself. It then trickles down to state, county, and local agencies, which make up the Joint Terrorism Task-force.
Phil Haney had entered more than 800 items into the DHS database that all other agencies can tap into. Local agencies can check the database to see if someone is on a watch list. This is important because most of the time it is the local agencies that deal with individuals.
We saw the need of this on 9/11 because one of the hijackers was stopped by police about 2 days before the attacks. They couldn’t connect the dots because this system was not in place at that time.
Phil Haney’s primary job was to try and connect the dots. Because of his background in etymology (the study of insects and their hives), he was an expert in very detailed investigation of facts.
Is I mentioned earlier, the first thing the Obama administration did was shut down the Holy Land Foundation Trial. In this trial they had already indited 5 members of the Muslim Brotherhood on over 100 counts of sedition and funding Hamas. According to Haney, somewhere between 12 and 50 million dollars were funneled to Hamas through these front organizations. Once this was done, the evidence was no longer available to our security investigators.
Shortly after this, a memo came from the civil rights division of DHS saying you can’t consider Islam, Sharia Law, or any aspect of Islam as a motivating factor in a criminal investigation. The 9/11 report had hundreds of references to Islamic terms showing the motivation of the terrorists.
This administration has actually allowed the Muslim Brotherhood to go into these agencies and review all of the training materials. Do you see the foolishness of this?
We are in a similar situation as in 1939, repeating the same mistakes made by world leaders concerning Hitler and Germany. Can you imagine the United States allowing the SS to come in and review the training materials for fighting against them? That would have been considered treason. This very thing is going on today under a new name, Islam.
This is exactly what has happened with the Muslim Brotherhood, except it is worse. This infiltration is at the highest levels of our government. It is like a cancer in our national security agencies. According to John Guandolo, they are not infiltrating our national security apparatus, they have taken it over. We are now seeing the deadly fruit of this.
They have allowed the very groups that, according to their own documentation, desire to sabotage our nation and bring it down into our security circles. We have given them an open door into our security agencies.
Just last week we heard former Assistant Director of the FBI, James Kallstrom, saying “Get this wet blanket of political correctness off the backs of law enforcement.” He said:
“…the Bureau is being told about what they can do and what they can’t do. They can’t go sniffing around anything to do with Muslims. They can’t go around to mosques. They can’t do things that they would normally do. I’m not talking things that are off the charts, I’m talking about things that normally would be done but the orders have come down from the White House.”
Remember, this is the former Assistant Director of the FBI. He is saying enough is enough, Americans are being killed. We have been saying this for a long time, but now people from within the administration are coming out and saying the same things.
I see no way that this is just poor policy and not intentional policy. They know who these groups are and they allow them to come into our security apparatus.
Phil Haney had entered 800+ records into the databases, and they forced him to sever all of the links to the supporting material. When the local officials query the databases, nothing comes up. Everything is wiped clean. In my mind this is criminal.
The second purge in 2012 was the result of a problem withing the agencies. They had purged all of the documents, but there were still smart people within the agencies who had the knowledge in their heads. This second purge concerned “subject matter experts.” These are those who have the content still in their heads. They realized that purging the records was not enough, They had to get rid of the people who had the knowledge. This has been a systematic policy across all of our security agencies.
Once this happens our security agencies are completely blind. This is why people like Mateen slip through the cracks. The investigators cannot even consider Islam and jihadi connections. They cannot be considered as motive or as probable cause.
I will give credit to the San Bernardino police because they did not mince their words. They almost immediately acknowledged that this was and Islamic terrorist attack. It is interesting how quickly CAIR had a press conference to deal with damage control.
It is interesting that Obama says this has nothing to do with Islam, yet they brought in an imam to the press conference with Sheriff Scott to tell us not to jump to conclusions. If this has nothing to do with Islam, why bring in an Islamic imam to apologize and say don’t look at Islam.

According to Haney, there is an intentional effort to shift the narrative. If they are not going to blame Islam, they have to blame someone. He said that the mosque in Florida is tied to the same movement as the mosque in California where the San Bernardino terrorists went. During the second purge, they not only got rid of Phil Haney, they deleted 67 records with all the biometrics, passports, birthdays, etc. on these people. This included the shooters in San Bernardino.
Phil Haney says they have come up with a new program. It is called “Countering Violent Extremism.” Instead of blaming Islam, they are blaming violent extremism. They will include ISIS, but Obama says ISIS is not Islamic. He says the purpose is to make it racist.
We need to remember that Islam is not a race. Although it comes out of Arabia, only about 15% of Muslims are Arabs.
According to this administration, according to Black Lives Matter (who has joined with the Muslim Brotherhood), it is white people, its the conservatives, its the Christians. This leads us to our next subject.
Why Are Christians Blamed For The Attack In Orlando?
The left has labeled us as extremists because we believe in gun rights, freedom of religion, etc.
There are two reasons that the left and much of the media is blaming Christians for Orlando. First they blame Christians for creating an environment of hate against the LGBT community. Secondly Christians and conservatives are always protecting gun rights.
We need to understand that the liberal world view is that man is inherently good. They believe that the individual is not responsible for doing bad things, it is their environment that causes them to do evil things. They believe that the gun, not the person using the gun, is the evil. In other words, when the shooter picked up the gun it made him evil. He wasn’t evil before he bought it, and if he couldn’t have bought it, nothing would have happened. I suppose we should also ban pressure cookers, because they must have made the Boston bombers evil.
The Christian world view is different. The biblical view is that man is inherently evil. The Bible says that we are all sinners.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12)
This is the condemnation, but verse 19 gives us the remedy.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. (Romans 5:19)
We are all sinners by nature, but we find redemption in Jesus Christ. This next passage tells us where evil deeds come from.
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. (Mark 7:21-23)
Here are some other passages that teach the same thing:
The heart is deceitful above all thing, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9)
This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead. (Ecclesiastes 9:3)
Of course, the liberals don’t want to accept this. They don’t want to point the finger at themselves, they want to blame something else.
For man to be good, there must be internal restraints. Our founders understood this. John Adams, our second President, said:
Our constitution was given for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.
There is no law in the world able to make a person to do what is right or able to control those who do not wish to be controlled. We cannot make a law to force a man to behave.
He went on to talk about the importance of morality and religion. You have to have those internal restraints. In Matthew Chapter 5, Jesus said if someone has hate in his heart, he is as guilty as if he had killed the person. If you control the hate which is internal, you control the action. This can only be done through the internal restraints of morality and religion.
The left wants to blame anything but the person. God tells us that it is the person who is the problem. We need to be convicted of our sin and fall on our faces (figuratively) before a holy God, and seek His mercy. As a true Christian, as a child of God, you have the Holy Spirit as that internal restraint to help you overcome the lust of the flesh, the old man, the sin nature that cause us to do evil things.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
We don’t get something new when we are saved, we become something new.
Liberals believe that we need to get rid of guns because they make people evil. Christians believe that we need guns to protect ourselves because men are evil without the internal restraints of morality and religion.
According to Romans 13, when Paul deals with the authority of civil authority, he says that the first role of government is to execute justice against those who do evil. This means that when the government, itself, becomes the evil doer, we have a major problem. When the government flips everything upside down and calls evil good, and good evil, it results in the state of lawlessness we see today.
We know that before there were guns, man was killing man. Before there were bows and arrows, man still killed man. Before there were bombs, man was killing man.
England has banned all the guns from the people and they still have murder, they still have the problems if the hearts. Right now in England there is a campaign to ban knives. The slogan is “Ban knives, save lives.” In China there was a mass killing of some 30 people and more than 100 injured and the people don’t have guns. Guns are not the problem, it is the heart of man.
The Vetting Of The Refugees
Our security people are telling us that it is impossible to properly vet the refugees coming into America because there is no data to use in the process. It is usually an 18 to 24 month process. The government is trying to tell us that we don’t have to worry because they will be going through so many stringent tests.
We now know, according to the Washington Post, that the plan is by September to bring in at least 10,000 Syrian refugees. In Jordan they are interviewing 600 people who claim to be Syrian refugees every day. Based upon how many they are approving, it will add up to more than 10,000. To accomplish their goals, the process has dropped down to 3 months.
We have people in the intelligence community who wrote a letter to Congress saying they have no confidence that this administration can adequately vet or screen these refugees. The shooter in Orlando was born in America, his father was a refugee and even had written anti-American things on the internet. There are the examples of the refugees causing problems in Europe and here in the US.
It is extremely dangerous that they are fast tracking people they can’t vet and bringing them into our communities. They are actually forcing communities to accept them. It costs about $20,000 to place every refugee. This is just the cost of placing them, it does not include the ongoing costs of housing, food, health care, schooling, etc.
There are other impacts on the communities. You now have Muslims from 3rd world countries dumped into our communities who don’t know how to conduct themselves in our society, and have no desire to learn how to do so.
Just being informed is not enough, we need to stand up an take action against what is wrong. If we do nothing we become complicit in the wrong doing. We cannot be silent on these issues. We need to get our friends informed and actively doing something also.
