Who is the Real Prophet of Islam
Today we are going to look at who the real Prophet of Islam is. Is he the prophet of the jihadists or is he the prophet of the reformers? Did he give a religion of peace which some are perverting, or did he give a militant religion that uses the sword to bring all into submission to Islam?
There is an internal battle going on in Islam and we want to look at who is in the ring. Groups like ISIS, Al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, and others are in the red corner and reformers like Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Dr. Zudi Jasser are in the blue corner.
Those in the red corner say they are just following the teachings and example of the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad. Those in the blue corner claim that what we are seeing in the world is not representative of true Islam. They say that Islam can be reformed and made peaceful. There are also the propagandists like President Obama, John Kerry, Eric Holder, and many others in our government who are saying Islam is a religion of peace. There is a real battle going on within Islam.
There is one more group that must be considered in this discussion. It is those like Shahram who have come out of the religion, the former Muslims. They also have a voice, but unfortunately we are not sure it is being heard.
We are often criticized for judging. Those who criticize use Matthew 7:1 which says, “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” If you take this in context it is saying that we need to first take care of our own sin, the beam in our eye, so we can see clearly to remove the mote from our brother’s eye. It is warning that we will be judged by the same standard that we use to judge others.
The Bible gives us the authority to judge Islam.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8
A so-called angel supposedly came from God and gave another gospel and another Jesus. God says anyone who does this is accursed. We are to earnestly contend for the faith (Jude 1:3). As Christians we not only have the right, we also have the responsibility, to point out error even if it comes in the name of God. Islam claims that their god, Allah, is the same God as Jehovah, and that he is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is not! We know this because we can judge them by their fruits.
1 John tells us we are to test the spirits because all spirits are not of God.
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1
Muhammad claims the he Qur’an is the final revelation from God. It rebukes Christianity. Many people don’t know that the Muslim version of Jesus is going to come back with their messiah and tell the Christians that they were wrong, there was no Crucifixion, he is not the Son of God, he was not God incarnate, God is not the Father and there is no Son.
We are told in the Bible to try the spirits, and that any spirit that denies the Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is antichrist.
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1 John 4:3
The Bible commands us to have discernment. We are commanded to point out those who are in error. It is not optional for faithful Christians.
Before we get started with the main subject I want us to look at a current event from Great Britain that will have an effect here in America. Christianity is being attacked on many fronts. Great Britain was once a force for spreading Christianity across the world. Today Christianity is being persecuted in this once great nation.
UK Court threatens to Jail a preacher for reading an offensive Bible verse in Open air preaching.
There is an interesting story coming out of Great Britain. A Christian street preacher was today found guilty of using “threatening” language by quoting the Bible when speaking about homosexuality on the streets of Taunton in June last year.
A judge of the Magistrates’ Court convicted this preacher under section 5 of the Public Order Act, which concerns causing harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
The judge at Bristol Crown Court told him that he should not have used the particular verse in the Bible – Leviticus 20:13 – because it uses the word “abomination”.
Overd was given a fine of £300, and told to pay £1,200in costs (a total of about $2,500) and compensation. This included a sum for the emotional harm caused to the homosexual man, who is also a Christian(?), to whom he was speaking when he quoted Leviticus.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
This verse is a condemnation of homosexuality. He did not quote the whole verse, he left out the part about being put to death.
Michael Overt said, “I am amazed that the judge sees it as his role to dictate which parts of the Bible can and can’t be preached… I did not quote the full text of Leviticus 20 or make reference to the death penalty, but the judge is telling me that I should use other parts of the Bible. This is not free speech but censorship. The judge is redacting the Bible.
He refused to pay saying the judgment is faulty. The judge threatened him with a 45 day jail sentence. He ended up paying the fine.
This judge is a Muslim and serves on an Islamic Shariah court. Islamic law holds the exact same position on homosexuality and this verse of the Bible. Muhammad taught that Leviticus was given to Moses by Allah. The only places Islam does not agree with the first five books of the Bible is where they say that the Jews corrupted them concerning the inheritance of Isaac and Ishmael.
This judge essentially told the preacher that he could not preach the Bible. Would he have made the same judgment to someone preaching from the Qur’an? The Qur’an teaches that homosexuality is an abomination and that it is to receive the death penalty.
The difference is that because of Jesus Christ Christianity no longer puts sodomites to death. They can be healed by God and they can be forgiven there sin. In Islam there is no redemption for them. This is why they are being put to death in Islamic countries. This is why ISIS is throwing them off buildings, etc. In Iran they hang them up on cranes on the street where they can be seen by all.
Again, I must ask, will this Muslim judge give out the same sentence to a Muslim preaching the same thing from the Qur’an?
The Muslims set up a Shariah court in Irvine, Texas and the mayor of the town took it before a judge who ordered it shut down. The court said it would not shut down no matter what the judge said. We need to be alert to this kind of thing. If we aren’t we are in danger of going where Great Britain already is.

Segment Two
The Red Corner: ISIS, BOCA HARAM, AQ, MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD and OTHERS…
On one side of the battle within Islam are groups like ISIS, Boca Haram, . Al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, and others. We are being told that these are not the true face of Islam.
These groups are involved in jihad, in the killing of apostates, Christians, Jews, and moderate Muslims. They are taking child brides, sex slaves, beheading those who don’t agree with them, etc.
ISIS has declared that it is the caliphate. They are establishing the Islamic one world order. They are in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, and have other groups around the world who have sworn allegiance to them. They are even in America. The recent threat that ISIS gave to US military personnel is real. They have even put out a hit list of those they are targeting.
The Obama administration is saying that these groups do not represent true Islam. The groups, themselves, say that they are simply following the teachings of Islam. The question is, which of them is right?
Shahram says that the more he looked at the acts of Muhammad, the more he looked at the things being done in the name of Islam, the more apparent it became that this could not come from the true God. He believes that this was the Holy Spirit at work to bring him to Christ.
To come to a proper answer to our question we must look at the actions of Muhammad. We must look at what he said, did, and lived because he is the only one who received revelation and enlightenment from the angel. Islam rises and falls, lives and dies, with Muhammad.
The Blue Corner: The “Reformers”, such as el-Sisi and Zudi Jasser
On the other side of this battle within Islam we have the reformers, the moderates. These people are trying to reform Islam into something new.
The Egyptian President. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, is a reformer. There is a recent article highlighting some things that have come from el-Sisi.
There is a reformer we see often on Fox News, Dr. Zudi Jasser. He is the president and founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy. He paints himself as a moderate, he is against jihad, he is against violence, he is for the freedom of religion, the freedom to choose, etc. He served as a Navy doctor for 11 years. He is an educated, intelligent man and a leader in the reform movement.
There is also the Muslim Canadian Congress which is headed by Tarek Fatah. He believes that Islam is a religion of peace and he preaches this message.
Another person we see from time to time on the news is Ayaan Hirsi Ali. She has written a few books and has suffered much as a Muslim woman. She is under a constant threat of death because she has had the audacity to speak out against the violence of Islam and condemn it. She is calling for reform. Her latest book is “Heretic, Why Islam needs a reformation now.” Unlike the others, Ayaan doesn’t like the term moderate. Those who call themselves moderates are really reformers.
There is a portion of Islam that is tired of the fighting and just wants to live in peace. They hear that Christianity had a reformation, but they have no idea what that means. They think that it means that Christianity was violent with things like the Inquisition and that after the reformation there was peace. They think Christianity was changed from what it originally was into something new. They think that Islam can do the same thing.
They do not understand that the Christian Reformation was an attempt to return to original Christianity. Christianity had been perverted and there was a return to the Scriptures. The violence of the perverted, per-Reformation Christianity was not found in the Christian Scriptures. Biblical Christianity is, by nature, peaceful.
The reformers are inventing a new Islam after their own imagination. They are changing it into something it never was but what they want it to be. There are passages in the Qur’an that support this argument. These passages are from the early days of Islam. They are from the time when Islam had no power to force others into Islam. Muhammad actually borrowed a lot of these from our Bible.
You can split the Qur’an into two parts, the Meccan passages and the Medinan passages. The meccan verses were peaceful, in fact one verse says “There is no compulsion in religion.”
Later passages say things like “Fight them who believe not.” Now we have a conflict between two passage in the Qur’an. This is where the doctrine of abrogation comes in to play.
These are the two sides in the battle. There are the jihadists and the reformers. There are also those outside of Islam who are involved in the battle. These are the propagandists. They include the Obama administration, many churches, etc. These may be the most dangerous because they are trying to deflect attention from the jihadists. They are trying to hide the true nature of Islam.
To understand this we must look at the Prophet of Islam. The revelation in the Bible came through a number of men. Each one confirms what the others say. We know that the Bible is true because when we use proper methods of interpretation and keep everything in context we find no contradictions. The Qur’an came through one man and there is no way to confirm the truth of his teachings.

Segment Three
What Do We Learn From Islam’s Prophet?
How do we figure out who is right, the red corner or the blue corner? We do so by looking at the founder of this religion, the prophet Muhammad.
Just as Jesus Christ is central to Christianity, so is Muhammad central to Islam. Just as there is no Christianity without Jesus Christ, there is no Islam without Muhammad. Each religion rises and falls on its founder.
If Jesus is not who He said He is, if He is not the Son of God, if He didn’t die for our sins, if He didn’t raise from the grave, there is no Christianity. Without Muhammad there is no Islam because all Islamic revelation came through him.
Here are some question I ask those who talk about peaceful Islam:
Is Muhammad to be imitated? – The answer is absolutely YES. The Qur’an commands Muslims to imitate Muhammad more than 93 times.
Did Muhammad participate in literal war, lying, and truce breaking, encouraging his followers to lie and deceive their enemies? – Yes, this teaching is called “taqiya,”
Did Muhammad command the killing of apostates? – Yes, he did. He taught there were three things that justified killing; when a non-Muslim kills a Muslim, adultery, and apostasy.
Did Muhammad take sex slaves and child brides? – Yes, he did. He married one wife who was 6 years old and consummated the marriage when she was 9. He took one sex slave who many believe poisoned him resulting in his death.
Did Muhammad order participate in beheadings himself? – Again, the answer is Yes, he did. The Qur’an talks about striking the necks of unbelievers. There is the story of Muhammad participating in the beheading of 600-900 Jews outside of Medina.
There are also the teachings that come from “The Reliance of the Traveller,” which is the official handbook on Islamic law. This book is accepted by all major sects of Islam.
The red corner, which claims to represent the true face of Islam, is doing what the Prophet did. When they use the phrase in relation to the Prophet, “Peace be upon him,” they are saying that what they do is what the Prophet did. The red corner, the jihadists, is trying to restore early Islam. They are trying to bring back 7th century Islam as it was under Muhammad.
If Muhammad did these horrible act, and ISIS, Boca Haram, and other jihadist groups are carrying out terror, beheading people, crucifying people, burning people, taking slaves, etc. to establish Islam, are they not the true face of Islam?
The blue corner, the reformers, say no and give us their arguments. They really don’t have much of an argument, but they have the media spreading their teachings and trying to make it look like they do have good arguments. One of the most important propaganda tools is to tell a lie so often that it is accepted as the truth. The Media and the Obama administration wants us to believe that Islam is a religion of peace so they keep feeding us the lie.
Many are confused because they see the jihadists doing their evil in the name of Allah but the President tells us that ISIS is not Islamic. When the jihadists do their dastardly deeds they cry “Allahu Akbar,” “Allah is the greatest,” the propagandists want us to believe that they are not Islamic terrorists.
The Ft. Hood Massacre is called work place violence. The beheading of a woman in Moore, OK is called an attack by a disgruntled employee.
The moderates aren’t much help because they don’t really have a case. When ask what their plan is they say the want to get back to the early verses of the Qur’an. They believe that if they do this they can reform Islam. This leaves us with the problem of the later verses that abrogate, or supersede the early verses. They really have no answer to this.
The verses of the sword, the verses that demand the killing of apostates and infidels, were given by Muhammad. The Qur’an is supposed to be the perfect word of Allah so these passages must be dealt with.
One of the Hadith, which are also considered authoritative by Muslims, says:
The Messenger of Allah says, “I have been commanded to fight against people until they testify that there is not god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger.”
Some say that this is not a physical fight, it is a spiritual fight. There is a problem with that. Muhammad fought a literal, physical fight. The reformers have a big problem because Muhammad showed what was meant by his actions. The biggest problem the moderates have is their Prophet, Muhammad.
The only way to truly reform Islam is to denounce Muhammad as a false prophet. If they do this, Islam ceases to exist.

Segment Four
Who Has The Best Argument?
Which of the two corners, red or blue, jihadist or moderate, has the best argument supporting their position? I don’t think there is much doubt as to the answer to this question.
The Red Corner
The jihadists can point to the example of the Prophet and say “we are just following his example.” They are following the doctrine of the Qur’an and the examples from the life of Muhammad as found in the Sunnah. The Sunnah supposedly contain everything Muhammad did and said. Here are examples of what jihadist say:
We must kill apostates who refused to return to Islam. Muhammad did this.
We must deceive and lie in battle to get our way. Muhammad did this.
We must take slaves to put fear in the hearts of unbelievers. Muhammad did this.
We must behead those who won’t repent. Muhammad did this.
You can see that they have a very compelling argument to support their cause. Muhammad claimed that he was the final messenger of God to all of humanity. He claimed that Jesus was not the Son of God, and that He was a Muslim.
The reason that Hamas, Hezbollah, and other jihadist groups hate Israel and want to destroy her and take over her land is what Muhammad said the Islamic Jesus is going to do when he returns.
Bukhari 343:65 – The hour will not be established until the son of Miriam descends amongst you as a just ruler (talking about Isa, the Muslim Jesus) he will break the cross and kill the pigs.
The cross represents the Christians and the pigs represent the Jews. This tells us that all Christians and Jews will be killed. If the jihadist groups like ISIS are killing Jews now they are just getting a head start.
The Blue Corner
How do the moderates defend against the argument of the jihadists that says we are just taking Islam back to its roots?
The reformers say that is an ancient misrepresentation of jihad. They say that jihad is a literal fighting only when they are attacked by others. They tell us that the real message of Islam is peace, and the the word “Islam” means peace. They go to the Qur’an to try to support their argument. They quote Surah 5:32 as “If anyone kills another person it is as if he has killed all of the world.”
They say that this proves that Islam respects life.
Our goal at Fortress of Faith is to present all of the facts. The verse above is not quoted in context by the moderates. Lets look at the verse in context. This verse is not for Muslims, it is for someone else. It is just a portion of a verse given to the Jews.
We ordain for the children of Israel that if anyone slay a person unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the clan it would be as if he slew the whole people.
The next verse is for the Muslim.
The punishment for those who wage war against Allah and his messenger and strive with might and main and mischief through the land is execution, or crucification, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides.
We must remember that Muhammad has declared war against all non-Muslims. This verse justifies all that the jihadists are doing to non-believers. By the way, non-believers include moderate Muslims.
The reformers take verses out of context. They are the ones who are guilty of perverting Islam. The passage just quoted abrogates earlier verses that teach otherwise.
Which Corner Is The Real Islam?
I think it should be obvious to all who want to understand the the red corner, the jihadists, are the real Islam. The jihadists want to set up a caliphate which rules the world.
The moderate, the reformers, cannot win the fight unless they get rid of the Prophet, Muhammad. If they do this, there is no Islam.
The reformers tell us that Islam means peace, when it truly means submission. The only way there will ever be a chance of peace under Islam is when all of the unbelievers are eliminated from this world. Even if that were to happen there would be little chance of peace because Muslims cannot even get along with Muslims. Just look at the conflict between Sunni and Shi’ite Muslims.
The verdict is in. The red corner is the true face of Islam.
Let me end with a word of warning. There are those from the red corner that masquerade as being moderates. Behind closed doors they are doing the work of sedition trying to destroy our country. Groups like CAIR, ISNA, and others fall into this group. We have documented the true color of these groups here at Fortress of Faith.
